The most crucial thing from this game is BBBR's injury. I don't think we will win the Rwc without him.

Yeah all the debate about who plays in the back row, at ten and in the midfield, is meaningless if he’s not on the pitch.

Dislocated shoulder shouldn't be out for the World Cup. He should be back for the playoffs...

Time for a ZinZan miracle recovery ala 1995.

Got to love a post shit performance TSF meltdown.

Losing BBBR is a big one. Probably one of the two guys i would pick as essential for our RWC chances.
How long does a dislocated shoulder take to heal?

After the shakey start i thought the RM-BB pairing went ok. Worth giving more time, unless people wanting RM lynched would rather Jordie has the 14 or 15 on his back. Worth remembering back to this same game last year. BB’s goal kicking cost us, Jordie had his well documented issues and DMac dropped the game at the end. In this game Bridge who everyone seems to be pinning their hopes on showed he is also capable of a howler with the try down his wing at the end.

Thought Frizzel was ok in the second half. Better than Fifita was last week anyway. Todd and Read pretty forgettable. We really missed Cane and Ardie.

Think the way we had TJP-AS and Taylor-Coles is probably the best way around moving forward. Really allows us to speed it up late in the game.

SBW got through his minute uninjured but other than one nice pass looked old and slow and didn’t get much go forward.

Anyway. Weird feeling after this game. Hard to give a shit after a game they clearly didn’t give a shit about by leaving out guys like Cane and Ardie.
Time to panic if we lose the Bledisloe and/or BBBR is ruled out for the season.

BBBR with one arm is probably better than the alternatives...

    Bring back Cory Jane!

Our work under the high ball, both offence and defence has dropped off a cliff...did we field a kick clean tonight?

@taniwharugby Wonder if Byrne leaving also had something to do with that?

@akan004 I suppose the answer to that are the Wallabies getting better at it with Byrne part of their coaching group

@Kirwan Yeah, and he got way more space in the second half, too, so it was a lot easier for him at 10 than for RM in the first half.

Well instead of discussing A fantasy game of what may have happened, let’s look at what happened when Richie was under pressure. It wasn’t good, and IMO we don’t have time to get him ready in time.

If Aussie are their useful poor selves then we’ll learn nothing about him either in those games.

It's fixable. It's like the Crusaders made changes in the SR Final. One of the changes was that RM was standing deeper, so that the Jags rush defence affected him less and he got more time. In the 2nd half of this test match, he also stood deeper and that's one of the reasons why things started getting better in his game.

@Kirwan no one really deserved to win tbf.

Boy, Fozzie got some work to do if he expects to have a job next year...

He should never even have got this job on his Chiefs form. He’s a teflon coated lock-in for 2020 unfortunately.

If we don't win the World Cup??? Fat fuckin' chance.

    Were the Boks ever onside?

I don't know when that was posted but from the 51st minute on -no. They knew they didn't have to (back line)There is rush defense, and off side, the officials weren't looking. Well done Bokke.
