Ruiz is offering Joshua a rematch in Mexico City. Given that boxing has a massive tradition and support in Mexico, and given that Ruiz is the first-ever Mexican heavyweight champ, there’s going to be an enormous gate. PPV #’s will likely be excellent too.

By contrast, AJ's mid section whilst aesthetically impressive couldn't cope with Ruiz's power.
Ruiz's physique is not dissimilar to MMA Legend Fedor Emelianenko.
For sure. But the calorific intake must be ludicrous. He must eat a cake between training rounds.

This is a 33 and 1 boxer who took Joseph Parker to the cards and many thought Ruiz had won. Parker, love him or hate him was(and still is IMO) a top 5-6 heavyweight. You do not get to a record as the one Ruiz has without being a serious prospect.
It's easy to say so now but it was clearly a mistake to take Ruiz on is such a way. I do not believe AJ's team put in enough homework on Ruiz.
That said these British boxers are a bit chinny. Fury(to a lesser extent but still have long thin neck for a boxer and the glancing blow that got him going down from Wilder was nowhere near one of Wilder's best), Whyte and AJ are all a wee bit vulnerable when one sneaks through. This is heavyweight boxing, they can all knock each other out of course but I think it takes less to get these 3 fighters off their feet.
