A couple of days out from the biggest test since the Lions and all we have is a bunch of blokes reminiscing about players from 30 odd years ago.
    What is going on?

That's my bad, should have known that video would send a bunch of old bastards on a trip down memory lane.

With the Irish having beaten us now, does this reduce the pressure on them to beat us again, or increase it, especially with home fans wanting to experience beating the ABs?

Increase, as they're confident now, did it once can do it again. Lions did it, England did it ( if you conveniently ignore the score), boks did it. Ireland supporters will see ABs as there for the plucking, and they've got the team to do it.

Should have been disallowed anyway, knock on by Buck.

Joe Stanley was the big hard midfielder of that era and was under 90kg if I recall correctly.

Just makes me realise how much the AB selectors missed a trick by not picking Marty 'Chuck' Berry. He woulda absolutely dominated.

According to his stats, he was 83kg. That's probably lighter than Andrew Mehrtens.

About Aarons Smiths size , quite funny when you think about it .

Yeah - although probably more in the Laumape 'mould'. He's not exactly a huge unit.

I say it every time we play. But "Come on Boys I need this win" My misses and all my outlaws are Irish! I can dine off this for the next year. But if we lose, I cop it nonstop.

Both wearing Guinness shirts , is it genuine, looks like the shooting of an ad ?

Both Guinness 'Ambassadors', which I guess means that they are being paid to pose for photos with Guinness shirts on and do a talk to corporates on a jolly. No wonder T is laughing, he's thinking of the bank balance.

Sadly if your in-laws are anything like many of the Irish 'fans' on the interweb you will cop it anyway. They will find a reason (like 'you played too hard').
Fern company excluded of course. We seem to attract a better quality šŸ˜‰

Now that I've left HK, I can enjoy the jovial Irish again. There's a couple at work who are top lads, so win lose or draw, I think we'll have a beer and laugh.

In other better news, injury room has de-populated. Kearney, Ringrose and Marmion back in training and all should likely start. .

    Teams named tomorrow. I’m reckoning
    1-15
J McGrath, Best, Furlong, Toner, Ryan, Leavy, POM, Stander
Marmion, Sexton, Stockdale, Aki, Ringrose, Earls, Kearney
    16-23
Scannell, Healy, Porter, Beirne, Murphy, L McGrath, Carbery, Larmour/Conway/Addison

That is the next frame. He put his head back on and neglected to whinge about it for years after.
