@chris-b I think it will be by at least a couple of scores, England (and I'm English) didn't even get a try
England will struggle to win if they don't score at least a couple of tries. Anything is possible though, happened in Wellington all those years ago before the 2003 RWC when Johhny knocked over 5/5 penalties in a swirling wind (man that guy was a freak).
Great player but can you imagine how boring a guy who practiced his goal kicking on Xmas day would be on the piss?

@mikethesnow This is not something you should revel in young man.

@nzzp There's only an up tick! I can't down tick this comment
Something for the mods to work on I suppose...
Would never happen.
Once one of MN5's anti-asian posts hits minus-triple digits the software would have some sort of crippling Y2K meltdown...
Hey, I don't play favourites. I hate every ethnic minority equally.

@mariner4life The real question for the ABs is which weakness in this England team they want to target.
The boks pulverized their scrum, maul, midfield and highball defence. Also put their lineout under pressure. And yet still managed to lose by playing very poorly. They also showed basically fuck all on-field tactical appreciation. I still can't understand how no one said, after the 2nd Marx overthrow in the pommie 22, hey boys, next time lets take the points or better yet, lets have a scrum.
Or why they persisted with the scrummie kicking from the base when they were making meters at will down the inside channel.
ABs are going to cane this English team.

The English midfield looked particularly porous.
I'd start there.

The most obvious issue they had will be worked on endlessly during the week. Even Moonhead would have seen the problems they had there.
Either the personnel will change or the patterns will be drilled.
Not saying it's not worth picking up on natural flaws such as weak shoulders or ball watching tendencies, just don't expect that what you saw on Saturday past will be the same on Saturday coming. -
@mikethesnow also Daly - get under his skin early on with some good defensive smothering and pressure from his outside and he puts the blinkers on. I find May irrationally irritating but he was robbed a couple of times by Daly putting it under the jumper.

I think it's a given that we will attack the scrum, but that doesn't always produce the results you want these days as if the ball is available the ref will allow use despite what is happening in the front rows.
We certainly need to drive forward in the scrum off our ball to set the backline defence on their heels though.
I doubt they will be kicking to ground much for the back three but will keep the ball close when they have it. Any sniff of a turnover or loose carry must be taken advantage of.
An early lead would be nice as well to reduce the amount we have to listen to that stupid song. -

Very diplomatic.
Typical Welsh comment on this topic is: "the England Football team are great and I'll support them when Wales isn't playing, ditto the English Rugby League team and of course, Cricket. But I just can't understand why the Pom Rugby team always has so many pricks in it"

I havent watched England recently , so just going off reports ,
The way to beat us is starve us of possession
But if their forward pack is struggling you would think this can only go one way ,

Will be interesting. Looking forward to this game.
Interesting, yes, but I am dreading it.
Jerome "deal" Garces, with Bonkers Jonkers as TMO, probably means that the wife will leave the room within the first couple of minutes (when I start my tirade about morons ruining my lifelong passion for rugby, etc). Shouting at a tele on your own isn't as much fun and the cat and puppy leave as soon as they hear the Haka these days. I expect it to be close and tense.
Wait, you’re married to my wife?

Logical. Over time
England football > Wales football
England cricket > Wales cricket
England league > Wales leagueHowever at Union it’s pretty much much parity over the years with sporadic periods of dominance one way or another = greater rivalry.
It’s just that in comparison we don’t get so easily worked up about it.

Is the symbol '>' meant to signify greater than?
The England cricket team is the England and Wales team. Always has been to my knowledge.
