@nepia you could also make the argument that his disiplinary record (long line of dumb shit) cost him his spot, and therefore his 4 games are still to be found elsewhere.
Anyway, my view is the Maori selection should be moot, Maori selection is the icing, he fucked up, doesnt get his icing and his 4 games should be found elsewhere.

@nepia does just being related to someone who's Maori make you Maori now?
It does if your name is Pari Pari and your last name is Parkinson (which is a well known Maori family last name).
Next time I'll just fucking say yes for you pedants.

I don't care either way (and don't think he would have been selected), I'm just giving a scenario where those games might count.

No - but, when your name is Pari Pari there's a reasonable chance!
Edit: Snap
He's also cousin to Rupena, who's on the bench tonight.

@taniwharugby The Taranaki Dev team should schedule a few midweek games.

@unite I've got a fiver that says he comes back faster than NMS
So stoked to see him playing again. While Taylor has gone really well having two top flight hooking options again would boost us a lot. Still a massive drop off after these guys.

Does anyone know how standings are decided if two teams are tied on points at the end of this weekend?
Is it based on points difference or wins or who-beat-who in the round robin?
From the NZR Competitions Regulations Handbook 2018:

Ere Enari is back:
Halfback Ere Enari has recovered from his second broken leg in the space of two years, and will play his first Mitre 10 Cup game in more than a year.
Enari, who is contracted to the Crusaders next year, played 50 minutes for Canterbury B against a Wellington development side last week, and has been named on the bench.

@bovidae Hansen doesn't want his house besieged by irate Counties and Wellington fans!
Will be interesting to see who gets released for the play-off games.
In my view, no-one should - unless they've played some threshold number of games. I don't think Hansen should get to influence who wins the title.
If ABs need some gametime they should organize some sort of game of three halves fixtures.
