Bledisloe and TRC locked up for another year. That'll do.

Now that we've won the RC, I'd like to see Mo'unga start against SA and BB at fullback. Not because BFA hasn't been good, but because Mo'unga needs game time and I really like to see more of that Mo'unga-BB 10-15 combo.

Best game for Nathan Harris in the ABs, only one missed throw and several that found their mark. Cool to see all the four props getting to enjoy destroying the Argie scrum. Ref was awful.

Crotty got through 82 minutes of rugby!

He will now trip up and give himself concussion in the changing shed.

We've made way too many errors to be content with this performance - lots to work on - but this is a great win in trying conditions against a fired up Argie side, not even mentioning some truly bizzare reffing. Character building for a lot of the younger guys.

Absolutely agree. Ref kept Argie in it through that second half, with some head-scratching decisions. Shag and co won't be happy with the error rate and penalties coughed up.
But good work from Ardie and much better from BB. No question of who our top team is, but we are exposing new players to the cauldron of test footy, and building some real depth in doing so.

Scrappy game but Hansen will be happy with the new/less experienced players performance. Pretty good for a scratch set of forwards. Depth building nicey

Savea MoM for me - outstanding. Ofa, Cane and Karl T also impressive. Gold medal for Crotty for avoiding concussion

Crotty had a very good game. I've specifically been watching him (with the usual fear of a head knock) and he was awesome organising our defence.

Frizzell was our top tackler with 20 tackles (missed only one).

Mounga was so casual about getting back there. He saw Barrett missed the ball on the ground and immediately needed to run back and cover fullback

Exactly. He's fast but doesn't have a teleporting machine. Go open season on the kicking but christ that's just being ridiculous.

Luke Whitelock GOOOOONE (scratched due to illness) Ardie to No 8 Jackson Hemepo to the bench

Ardie at 8 could be interesting. More room to play.
Getting closer to his real number as well.

    Good game fron Kid'nPlay

I havent watched but listened to Yealdens commentary.

From his comments, the MOTM would be either Savea or Tu'unukuafe.

But I gotta say, the myth of the Argie scrum is gone, we smashed them with a front row of Perry, Harris and Ta'avao!

Ben Smith had a quiet game at full back today. He has had 2 exceptional games for the AB's this year, otherwise he's been basically solid rather than great.

The notable characteristic of his best games is that he was on the right wing for both.

if a ref is going to make a call based on his viewing of a play on the big screen, against the call of the TMO, do we need a TMO (the fact he very likely got it wrong is irrelevant given how often TMOs do)

I have no issues with him making the call, but it does bring into question the need for a TMO if a ref is going to go to him and then ignore him.
