I remember the Ireland match. Nonu got a tackle all wrong and the camera panned straight to Tana who was sitting expressionless in the stand.

if that was the one in the Tron, he didn't just miss, he missed by a mile. Totally misread BOD and let them in for a big score. I thought that coudl be the end of him, but he came back stronger than ever.

@act-crusader Mils played on the wing in the 1 test we lost in 2005 against SA.

Cheers. For some reason I thought that was in 2007.

Just looking back to 2006, Mils played a lot of footy at centre.

Wow that is a blast from the past. I think i joined tsf somewhere between the Lions and that 2005 EOYT.
Lots of names there that have disappeared over the years.

    @pukunui

Me too. I’m pretty sure I joined in 2004 or 2005, so that was a nice trip down memory lane.

I wonder if I can restore my profile pic to the ex Mrs gt12, just for the memories. Those were good times....

@gt12 I don't think I'll be restoring mine of the ex Mrs Bones.

    @bones

You never met the ex mrs gt12.

On the hot crazy timeline she was hard-core danger zone, but it was still worth it.

@gt12 That sounds exactly like my ex Mrs MR when I joined in 2005 too.

Creative for ogilvy. Do I need to say more?

I still don't see what all the fuss is about with Kaino though.

At least that gave me a chance to see my posting standards are still the same.

TBF at that stage Kaino had shown very little and I guess the cartel agreed and that is why he missed Lions selection.

Found them on MP4, and not sharing!

She's now back in her proper place as my avatar forever.

I'd hate to see my posts about Nonu pre 07.

we need to create a permanent archive particularly around the time of BOD-gate - I still watch the UK commentary videos of the Lions tests. Dewi Morris really did not like Clive at all.

Fuck @Crucial you've blown productivity for the next week.

(Wonder if we can find reference to the Eddie Butler / Keven Mealamu / country of his birth article?)

    1. ?
    2. H Reid (stuck behind an AB captain)
    3. J Drake (just 1 proper season as an AB then retired for work reasons)
    4. R Willis (huge potential)
    5. M Brooke (probably 3rd best lock in NZ for 3 or 4 years and never an AB)
    6. ?
    7. D Monkly
    8. P Lam (not 1992 Lam, but 1998 and 99 Lam when he was in Northampton and Hart was playing midgets at number-eight)
    9. Dean Kenney (post David Kirk, pre G Bachop)
    10. F Botica (after becoming a pro at Wigan he worked on his weakness, and became dead-eye dick goalkicker, Would have been handy in 93, 94)
    11. J Goldsmith (AB at 18, leg shattered at 19)
    12. C Ngatai
    13. Jeremy Stanley
    14. N Berryman (he looked amazing at 14 for Northland in 1991 NPC as an 18 year old, but he kept 'growing', took another 6 or 7 years to finally carve out his niche as a fat centre)
    15. M Ridge (it took 5 years to properly replace Gallagher, amazing)

Can't think of an unlucky 6 or loosehead. Even 14 I'm stretching it with Berryman, maybe Clamp coinciding with Kirwan's career would be a more realistic choice.

Was tough selecting at fullback (Osbourne), centre (Kahui), Hooker (Hewitt).
