We need something like the NFL where the umpires actually explain quite what and why they're deciding what they have.

Last try - very sleepy from the Canes. I was watching Aaron Smith sprinting across behind the ref. and looking interested and there was a real lack of urgency from his opponents.

While obviously he was merely punching the turf due to his frustration with his own lack of speed nowdays, hypothetically if he was punching Squire, you'd think it would take a bit more motivation than a lazy arm to the head as you fall to the ground in a tackle anyway.

If that’s a swinging arm and yellow card then rugby is done. Have a look at every tackle/ruck and I can guarantee the same head contact is made at least a dozen times per game.

I’m just flabbergasted how that was even a penalty let alone a yellow card.
