Fuck the wrong midfielder went off, shoulda been SBW, am afraid he's more of a hindrance to our backline than help now.

no proper replay of the try, but on first viewing i immediately thought forward for the pass from 10 to 14. Need better TV directors. 🙂

I’m still struggling with our tactic of constantly giving the ball back to the opposition and relying on our D to force mistakes. If they don’t make mistakes we are starved of possession.

Well that was a forgettable first half...rugby not reaching any great heights. Probably be called a classic encounter by games end.

Our defence was excellent. That last try was just a really good move.

But we need to look at why we have so little possession. Is tuipolotou actually playing??

I much prefer the tactic of holding onto our possession with hard brutal offense and waiting on the inevitable opposition mistakes.

@tordah just rewound and yeah, it’s pretty marginal. But why would we expect Barnes to call a forward pass?

Am not a fan of the dinky little kicks in our own half. Would like to see us kicking in behind them.

Another 20m for them to have to truck it up.

The little kick to "regather" which we're not just give them attacking ball.

The forwards need to get their shit together and win some ball, and hold onto it.

Barrett was to blame for that Welsh try as he was the defender beaten.

Naholo’s first try, there was no attempt at all from the tackler to use his arms. Technically just a shoulder charge on a man in the air.

Looked ok. Just replayed on BeIN. Flat at worst.

Would be shitted if we got called back for that.

Whos playing well for the AB's then?
    Naholo, SWhitelock, Cane ?

    Average impact for now:
    Barrett, ASmith, DMac ?

    Reuben Thorne-esque (i.e. invisible)
Tuipolutu, LWhitelock, Ioane (maybe not 100%?)

I'd like to see Todd come on, with Cane moving to 6. Todd is one of the best in making turnovers.
