@Paekakboyz said in GOT - there will be spoilers:

Bronn is the fucking man!! The stones to face down a dragon! The ultimate body guard too.

Presume only one dragon as they only have one rider? that carnage times 3 over would have made it an insta BBQ!

Arya shows some skills, Jon gives career advice and Littlefinger continues to be weird. Giddy up!!

Bran is still a boring emo fucktard though. First half of the episode was dreary, thank God for the second half!!!

For those who read the books I think we have a little insight into Aegon's plot arc. Cercei has lost her army but has the Iron Bank and will soon have the Golden Company, the group of mercenaries Aegon is commanding in the books....

That was so awesome, we waited 7 seasons for a fire-strafe murder rampage and it did not disappoint. Cool that the dragons are immune to regular arrows, scales too hard.

Bran is so painful, whats the point of knowing all this stuff if you don't tell anyone shit and lose your identity?

Does Jaime drown at the end? How was he able to charge on a horse with a spear when he has one had? Don't think his goldfinger would do that well with a pair of reins.

Awesome battle - although I hope they haven't blown their seasons budget and can't stage any decent fight scenes again (if they have I suggest that only frequent Missandei nudity will make up for it).

It also looks like the TV writers are in control now and not the fat old pervert otherwise Jaime and Bronn would be dead ducks during that battle.

@MN5 Yep, Bran is annoying as shit, but at least they've rehabilitated Arya back to being awesome again.

Finally, the dragons did more than fly about!

Gotta say Danny was daft after the first arrow missed to go for a sight seeing fly allowing Bronn to reload rather than straight in....then dumb arse Jamie going in to try kill a dragon, a fucking dragon who was still alive enough to crisp him up, but you knew Bronn would save him.

Agree with @mn5 though, Bran is a bore and a waste of space, surely he knows little finger is a little cnut?

    Is Rickon still alive?

Funny how Arya and Sansa say 'Arya' differently.

Was Jamie trying to kill the dragon or Dany? Suspect it was the latter.
Re Bran, the guy is basically a computer now. He knows everything that has ever happened or been said over the past few thousand years. So little bit understandable he comes across a little off. As Meera said, the real Bran died back in that cave.

Those Ballistas proved that the dragons can be hurt. The Lannisters will be hoping they have enough cash to get a few more to defend themselves. Excellent point re Jaime. Perhaps he wound the reigns around his gold hand?

Nah, Blondie was in front of the dragon and I reckon Kingslayer was prepared to risk his neck to kill her and end it for his sister/wife.

That armour he wears must be heavy though...

Tyrion saw him taking that mad charge so I reckon we'll see Jaime saved in some way, shape, or form. There has been internet banter that ol Golden Hand is the lord of light. So maybe he needs a death (like our man Snow) to show his true powers?? no way they'd just fade to black/blue for his death scene. That's too Sopranos!!!

Bran obviously has a part to play in the conclusion ... but man his character and storyline bores me sideways.

Seriously Bran, you've spent 6 series being dull as fark, and now your supposed to be interesting, your still dull as fuck.

    No way Jaime is dead

What irks me so much is the amount of people who sacrificed themselves for that ungrateful fucken paperweight.

@Catogrande dragon fire spits a decent distance....Was just a dumb move, as stated by Tyrion.

Maybe Dany will have Jamie & Bron as prisoners when they resurface.

Edit - just remembered Rickon was the retard that couldn't avoid a long range arrow shot

that was a fun hour of television. About time that sullen arrogant bitch got off her ass and actually did something, rather than just whinging and trying to get blokes to go down on her.

Giving Jon Snow shit about his "pride"? Pot kettle bitch.

Bronn has been the best character for fucking ages now, but seriously, at this rate they've basically made him a super hero.

Dragons are fucking awesome. They are going to have to build a fuckload of them fancy crossbows to be effective against 3 of them.

My guess with Bran is, we see him as the guy who can fill in everybody's blanks, and help out. He however, has zero fucks to give about anybody really, so he probably doesn't even think to tell them anything, especially if it doesn't help the "bigger picture".

While the stuff down south makes for cool battles and a bit of scheming, i wish they would just make with the fire v ice fight already.

Bronn is tough as fuck but fights dirty. Maybe he thought he couldn't take that Dothraki fella in hand to hand combat? In any case the Ballista made short work of that fight.

I think it's very refreshing that, with all the hot totty floating around the show, the character you most want to fuck is the battered bloke with the face like a 2003-era English rugby forward.

I get enough love in real life. The days of pausing tits on tv for a quick flog are long gone.

    I wondered why the reaction.

    alt text

The line occurs in Season 3, Episode 6. The hour’s title, “The Climb,” most obviously refers to the ascent of the Wall by Jon and the wildlings, but it also connects to Littlefinger’s monologue to fellow spymaster Varys, who finds Baelish sitting next to the Iron Throne admiring its many blades. Littlefinger reminds the Spider, “Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder,” which he plans to take every advantage of.

That was an incredibly deep puddle Jamie landed in. He'll be fine. The next episode will see Bronn pulling him out of the water downpuddle. Farked if I know where they are but given distances no longer mean anything they will probably meet up with Sandor and the Brotherhood. Was probably the intention 2 seasons back but the show runners had him return from the Riverlands after the fuckers didn't even give the Blackfish a screen death. Still not sure why they even bothered to send him up there.

Seems they're trying to make Dani a bad guy. She gets total proof that they're up against an army of white zombies that will wipe them all out if they don't do something , but only pledges aid if John bends the knee. Wtf?

They really don't know what to do with Littlefinger any more do they? The master schemer is like a loser at a party going from person to person hoping someone will like him. He even gives them free shit and they still tell him to fark off. The freak that was once Bran will probably divulge all the shit he's done.
