Congratulations Lions. Better team won. Good for Lions rugby. They were winning the collisions from minute one.

I was going to say hopefully dry weather for Eden Park but really just hopefully no red cards for ABs.

Realistically we were outplayed and i can't think of a good All Black to be honest. Lions better in most facets, Itoje and O'Brien were huge.

Fark, you're tough. I'm immensely proud of teh ABs, to stick with the cream of the NH for 50 minutes with 14 men is incredible. And - to lose - took brain farts and a dodgy ref penalty.

Every AB who played tonight (except one) can be proud of what they did. We had no right to stay in that contest for as long as we did.

    Well, shit.

Firstly well done Lions, there were two good attacking movements in the game, they were both yours and both resulted in tries. You tried to lose with some brainless play, but held your nerve.

For us, poor. Couldn't do anything against their defense, and kicked away all our ball. Barrett was shit, Cruden no better. The attacking kicks were shit and just gave away our ball.

Realistically we were outplayed and i can't think of a good All Black to be honest. Lions better in most facets, Itoje and O'Brien were huge.

    Fuck you SBW

I thought Cane and ALB were faultless tonight

Good win for the Lions. Their tight five played around the park like they'd had a rocket up their collective backsides.

AB's started like they'd just phone it in from last week, then had to wake up when SBW did an SBW...

Would love to know what happened as they were off down the tunnel.

Looks as though even the lions were telling their own player to shut up. Then the all blacks stopped and turned towards whoever was giving it

I wish we could get Angus Gardner for the final test.

Man Cruden kicking the ball away with 90 seconds was pretty hard to stomach. That's a 2% play. It was well covered by two Lions defenders. Lions had given away penalties all day. The plan should have been to work upfield, kick a drop goal and at least draw the series.

Also the quick lineout was so unnecessary.

I just hope that we get to see Barrett have 80 mins at 10 next week. Very frustrating watching Cruden there.

Looking at the bright side before I become incoherent, the series is alive and next week actually means something.
Secondly SBW won't be playing and I get to tell everyone who raves about him "I fucking told you so, he's a fluffybunny".

Once again well done to the lions , opportunities are taken not handed out.

I thought Cane, Brodie, Whitelock, and Moody were excellent. Ardie put in a good shift too. We just missed Kaino. That's too long, too short handed.

It wasn't helped by A) shitty goal kicking, and 😎 shitty kicking. I don't think Cruden justifies his place, and he needs to be dropped.

If Jordie Barrett is good enough, he must be picked. Dagg to 14, and I'm tempted to bring back Julian too. I'm totally over Ioane missing his first up tackles.

And, lastly, but mostly, well done Lions. They made hard work of it, but they got the job done, which was required the moment we lost SBW. Good on them!

Cruden was hopeless. Why would you go for an extremely low percentage play with a minute to go.

Still should have won it with a 9 point lead though.

Losing by 3 points after playing with 14 men for most of the game and a ref that doesn't know his job is actually not that bad. A better opponent would have benefitted more from having a player more.

The frustrating thing is we really should won that game with 20 minutes to go. We just gave away two very sloppy tries. The ease at which they scored was a big concern.

All of a sudden it's becoming a delimna, you need a 10 on the bench , and in the modern game , you need to use your bench .
    Need another 10 utility

In hindsight, it was wrong to sub Jerome. We needed the extra forward in the tight exchanges, and didn't need the extra back while the weather was worse (the rain easing was an unpredictable bugger). Needed a forward earlier and a back later.
