WTF are you on mate? Seriously.

He was inconsistent as all hell, terrible display.

I haven't read any comments yet but the Canes pack barred up better than I expected.

Laumape is worth a place on the bench on Sat. Unleash him with 20 mins to go.

Despite the sinbinning Henderson was the more impressive Lions lock.

@Bovidae Yeah, Henderson played well, and certainly looks better than Lawes. I don't see what is good about Lawes.

Argh! Fuck, what a frustrating game. Canes played like idiots for most of it. How does ben may get paid to play rugby? I don't understand how it is so hard for players to get it through their thick skull that you can't tackle a player in the air. So often you see guys have a brain explosion and half jumping in the air and tackling the other player. TTT was the culpret in this case but there have been a few recently. Fekitoa was one from memory. Just let him land and dig your shoulder into his ribs.

For a guy who just got his ABs spot taken Savea was pretty anonymous. One or two good runs and fuck all else. Get into midfield and show you can bend the line rather than waiting on your wing doing nothing.
NMS had some nice touches but defence was not great. Catching kicks still a worry.

In the good column was Laumape and Barrett which is encouraging given one or both are a chance at the test team.

Oh and fuck you Lions you whinging, cheating bunch of chokers.

A draw! Fuck me days, talk about a game of two halves. Canes played like chumps in the first half, and the Lions were the chumps in the second. Canes bench made a big difference. And there is no way in hell that Poite is a tier one ref. If Ayoub is looking more knowledgeable and competent, you really must be shite.

Oh yeah, and how the fuck does Ben May keep getting Super contracts? He must have some seriously incriminating pics of someone...

I thought the 4 All Blacks got better as the game went on. Laumape or Jordie for the 23 jersey on Saturday.

Young replacement Canes halfback went great guns. Sam Lousi's improvement for me shows difference between Aus and NZ coaching.

Wonderful game. Lions really brought an attitude to use the ball which was great to watch and effective.

Made more random calls in favour of the Lions ... therefore Lions fans rate him " proper"

Reminded me of a NZ Super rugby derby. Lots of attack but a lot of defensive pressure.

Henderson an outstanding game. I thought he was unfortunate that Joseph lifted that leg and it was over after that and a clear YC in these times.

Good to see Laumape really step it up. Aso who I don't rate that highly because he's usually erratic, was very good tonight. Showed some nice touches.

Pretty disappointing from the Canes tight forwards and their discipline.

Some better attack from the Lions trying to keep the ball alive a bit more, but periods of ponderous play also. Impressed with Nowell again. Tipuric, Stander again very good.

    Well done both side.

Also I didn't think the ref was too bad. Lots of niggle and chat from both sides. Quite the physical contest with both sides living on the edge, but under the circumstances I thought he tried to keep it flowing.

    @MiketheSnow

Throwing the ball away after penalties, diving off their feet at rucks, living offside, not rolling away from the tackled player, spear tackling defenders at the ruck, pulling back players off the ball.
    Plenty of examples.

Thought half back play from Canes was poor particularly TTT who was awful, the youngster who came on was a huge improvement. Jane looked so much better than NMS. Don't know which irks me more Poirot or the whining Lion's players, Best and Biggar in particular. Good news is I think the holding onto the ball after penalties will be noted by ref for next week, Loved Laumape, third test perhaps? Jordie blew hot and cold, you would think it opens the door wide for Naholo.

In fairness, I think the Lions might have been guilty of one or two of those as well.....

How could you tell? Or do the red invisibility cloaks only work on refs?

Laumape's gotta be on the bench Saturday. Jordie certainly grew into the match, not a bad little debut at 10 for him, seemed to really take charge

Thought he looked good at 10
At least he can cover 10,15,4,5 from the bench.

@Rembrandt He's good, but doesn't cover wing or fullback. Ioane already covers midfield.

Throwing the ball away after penalties - both sides
Diving off their feet at rucks - both sides
    Living offside - both sides
Not rolling away from the tackled player - both sides
Spear tackling defenders at the ruck - penalised and YC
Pulling back players off the ball - penalised
Coles potential high tackle - noted but not looked at
Barrett leading with the shoulder - missed

He should be closer in. Not a 15. I may have mentioned that once or twice.

Laumape could cause havoc off the bench.
