All Blacks vs. B&I Lions test #1

30-15 , in the other thread , most of the predictions were around that mark ,
Smart bunch we are

Great test. For 50 minutes that was nail biting stuff. Some huge performances from both sets of players.
Crowd seemed to go quiet when we pulled away? Celebrate you bastards
Enjoyed that. Not something I have said after many tests over the last couple of years.

Good couple of phases to finish
Was a really good test. The margins are very small at this level. Lions scored a wonderful try and had enough chances but didn't execute when it mattered. ABs went up a gear and put away a couple of chances, then it's suddenly a 15 point lead and a long way back.
The beauty of a three match tour is they have a chance to take some learnings and come back stronger in the 2nd test.

just saw a ticker ad running around Eden Park claiming to be NZ's national stadium. Bullshit we don't have a national stadium typical JAFA's
-
I love that the game turned in a huge scrum. Keep writing disparaging shit about our set piece you idiots.

@mariner4life the crowd didn't want to be mistaken as arrogant fans

I hope they correct it before the next Lions test there, or the major TRC games.

Good game. Feel for crotty who was excellent before injury. Sbw good hard running, but as usual several mistakes looking for miracle balls. Alb couple of defensive lapses. Aaron Smith makes such a difference to making the advantage line and getting momentum. Not really memorable games from Barrett or cruden. Best test for dagg in a while. Hope Ben Smith is okay.
Our locks and props are all good. Do your homework Scott Barrett, Webb always runs. Dodgier lineout without Coles. Big motors Sam cane and Kieran read. -

Who are they going to bring into the side to replace Ben Smith and Ryan Crotty?
I assume that's why Goodhue is on the injury cover list.
For BFA, there's Dagg. Naholo to the right wing. -
Moody and Franks really set the tone early with some massive hits and work at the breakdown.
Taylor really stepped it up. Great hands. I'm sure they'll work out a strategy so he's not doing doing the Mealamu to start each lineout.
Whitelock as reliable as ever.
Read, welcome back bro. Huge performance.
Crotty was excellent and we were carving up in the midfield early on. Some great support play and offloads.
Dagg, his best test for some time. Lots of close in work, great tackling and some big kicks to get territory back.
Crockett great impact at scrum and in the loose.
Did I miss anyone? Oh yeah the other blokes did alright 😎

Yep. I like how we targeted them in the forwards because that's where the Lions have been talked up.
