Good news; it looks like both Black Ferns games against the Wallaroos will be televised. Glad that Sky finally seems to be taking our women's team seriously, although the proof of that will have to come from broadcasting the games in England & Ireland. I hope the games will also be televised in Oz.

Strong looking team, even with a few newbies in the squad. That backline looks deadly!

    Savage-Cocksedge. What a brilliant 8-9 combo.

That was a great second try. Chelsea Alley over for the Ferns.

Too easy! Try no. 3. Cocksedge scores after a quick tap, 5m from the Wallaroos line.

It's 21-3 to the Black Ferns after 20 minutes.

Geez, these Aussie girls are terrible.

Winiata over: 26-3 to the Black Ferns after 25 min.

And another one, by Eloise Blackwell. Aussies have one player in the bin.

Funny how the the Black Ferns had a huge number of players in the line-out, including two backs.

And those backs couldn't stop laughing when they went to the front of the lineout. An obvious set move.

Really impressed with the workrate of both locks and the captain Fa'amausili.

It must be hard for the Wallaroos to prepare for the World Cup next year if they don't have a women's equivalent of the NRC (or our NPC), their players are recruited straight from club rugby and the Aussie 7s and - if I understand it correctly - they don't have a tour to Europe.

The Black Ferns haven't played since the June 2015 Super Series, but the Wallaroos not since the last World Cup in 2014.

She has a huge engine. Unbelievable that she's 36!

    67-3!!

That was some classy running rugby from the girls. Wallaroos had nothing.

These games against the Aussies are good as warm-up games but they don't really say much about where the Ferns are internationally. It will be interesting to see how they will do on their tour when they play Ireland (current World Champs) and England (professionals).

Really entertaining to watch. Some real physicality from both sides.

The BFs handling was pretty damn good and some very impressive performances.

Hopefully the game on Wednesday will also be televised here in Aus.
