Nah I don't get it eh. They look nothing like Tavatavanawai's build.

Anyway we will have to agree to disagree that some professional coaches consider conditioning and players appearance.

@brodean right, despite ALB having love handles in almost any picture you see, he's not effected by the pot belly rule. Still waiting to see this fat belly of Jim's too.

The media release said a 35-man squad. They often cheat and add extra players under the guise of injuries to other players.

    So a 19/16 split?

    Prop x 5
    Hooker x 3
    Lock x 4
    Loosies x 7

    Halfback x 3.
    1st 5s x 3
    Midfield x 4
    Wing x 4
    Full back x 2

Personally would be inclined to add a prop, and drop a back.

Agree with @Duluth about coverage of fullback, and there's likely Wing coverage in Midfield.

What will give us the most impact? Forwards are generally less likely to go the full 80 in top shape, we probably need to match the saffas

The pot belly is key to the low centre of gravity for turnovers. You just flop it up there on the tackled player and it provides great stability while still looking like you are supporting your body weight.

You have a nice spot to balance the remote too

And use a tray for snacks

Scott Robertson to get double boost as 2023 Rugby World Cup star set to follow Richie Mo’unga in returning from Japan

Scott Robertson to get double boost as 2023 Rugby World Cup star set to follow Richie Mo’unga in returning from Japan

The All Blacks could be bolstered by the return of some big players ahead of the 2027 Rugby World Cup.

@SBW1 No real news in that article. My guess is that both Richie Mo'unga and Shannon Frizzell will be at the 2027 RWC playing for Tonga.

Why do they report on these 2 every few days. Just leave them alone and find a more interesting story.

This article keeps coming up revealing nothing other than both returning the year after next, giving them very little time to prove themselves for selection. Does anyone think they may have struck a deal which the press is deliberately spinning out? By 2027 both of these guys could well become irrelevant.

100% agree, no one should ever be an automatic selection after being away that long playing micky mouse rugby in Japan.

I think our rugby press is devoid of ideas and avoids criticism of the AB coaches way too much, but I don't think there is some conspiracy.

That will only happen if Robertson actually, you know, develops players.

Especially having played in one of the ABs least successful eras.

Why wouldn't a Sititi-Savea-Sotutu back row work at Test level?
