I've enjoyed both Fury Road and Furiosa. Opinions on the latter will depend on whether you like Chris Hemsworth hamming it up.

I thought Hemsworth was great, and there was less of the stupid pole bouncing which annoyed me on the Hardy one.

Thought Furiosa was a bit more of a throwback, whereas Fury Road could have just been a standalone film, both had thier merits, but Furiosa the better IMO

Some big players on the fern ( is that an oxymoron ? ) have endorsed this, 5-0 so far.

I'll have to wait til the weekend to actually watch it though, will give my thoughts after doing so.

Half way through Furiosa, yep it's pretty much all that the wise men of the fern said it was. Some pretty cool action scenes I must say.

Furiosas Mum was a hell of a shot with a rifle.

Some ridiculously over the top characters as expected. Obviously PEDs are easy to get hold of in the wasteland and theres loads of gyms around.

Better than the Tom Hardy one so far.

As is the case of every Mad Max movie they certainly rev their bikes a lot and lots of unnecessary bursts from the flame throwers considering the gas shortage.

    @Tim

At least they changed the name for general release. It went out as The Chosen.

I didn't even know they're on today. Looks like Anora is in the box seat to take out best picture going by the other winners.

    I didn't even know they're on today.

I saw one of the local breweries had an "Oscar watch" event - so I could go and watch the entire thing if I wanted.
I conveniently forgot which one it was.
And luckily didn't stumble across it in today's brewery-crawl.

They should make a Terminator movie with the Reacher guy.

    Finished this.

Stunt work absolutely top notch and some fun action scenes. Furiosa sure can shoot, that sniping at Dementus was terrific.

The Wasteland doesn't look like much fun if you're not part of a good crew. In saying that Immortan Joes pad looks like a hole too.

Better than the Tom Hardy one overall.

Tom Hardy is great but his presence alone isn't enough to save a bad movie ( sorry, going off topic )

    T.I.M

Saw this on Neon and should have known better.

Chick gets a job designing AI Robots, get's given one by the factory to try out. and her hubby get jealous. Develops a mind of its own and things turn to shit.

Predictable as fuck, some absolutely terrible acting and WHY when they design these androids in Movies do they make them super strong and pretty much impervious to damage ? surely that's asking for massive trouble if they play up ?
