ABs picking overseas players - inevitable?

The overseas eligibility rule is only for a handful of players. Wonder if he is also considering BBR.
That's how it starts.

Quote from the article.
“You cannot replace Test experience – that’s one thing I’ve learned. Hence why Sam Cane has been so valuable. That’s the consistency that South Africa have at the moment."
I question his intelligence. Look at how many players Rassie has used this year. How does this dipshit think players get Test experience without playing?

I think I've been had. I'm already very bearish on next season if that's how he feels. Perhaps the SuperCoach should just select good players and coach, instead of fapping over guys that chose to leave?
Fuck no I am dead against picking overseas players. It will be the death nail of our competitions imo.
If players want to come back no problems but play in our competitions to be selected.
It sounds like Razor wants to keep Cane ffs.
Stupid idea Razor get your shit together and promote the players we have playing locally and players who return to play locally.Imagine the state of Super Rugby if it happened.
We'd be having the likes of Peter Umaga-Jensen, Dallas McLeod and Angus Ta'avao as our headline acts for the comp.
It would ruin all our competitions and probably effect revenue massively.

I wouldn't be totally against letting two or three overseas-based players play for the ABs in a World Cup year to boost the squad strength a little bit and cover injuries, but anything north of that is not necessary.
im not convinced we need to go overseas just yet, we havent see what a squad picked purely on form can achieve, seems like we dont have the depth IMO because we've still mostly seen the same people getting picked....plus people like BB, Cane and Savea were constant starters this year and were playing in japan earlier in the year...maybe if we stuck to the best combinations from super rugby (9-10, 12-13, front row, 4-5)....we might see more cohesion

Well said Beaver, even more of a legend
“Let’s not sugar-coat it, this is about getting Richie Mo’unga back – it’s one person,” Donald continued.
Yep, and we all fucking know it. If he was DC it would make more sense, but he's not, not even close to being close despite his fluffers.

Beaver cementing his GOAT status
-
its also so blatantly self fore filling.....razor bends or changes the rules to get RM back...at +30 years old...clearly with the intent of running him through until the RWC....so another generation of 10's tell themselves its at least another 2-3 years before i get a good shot...fuck it i have bills to pay...pick form the guys we have...pick on form...reward those playing well and playing in NZ

A man who know how to perform on the big stage.

Still can't over DMac not having the starting reins after a wonderful performance against Ireland.
Compare that to the starting first five performance vs England where I was pulling my hair out
I just don't get it
It's a major point -
This comment from Razor kind of pisses me off
“They’ve got a got a great balance. They’ve got youth coming through, they’ve got great benches, they finish over top of teams and they’ve got big squads – they can have two really quality XVs"
And how do you know we don't Scott?
I just did the tedious process of going through our lineups this year, and the stark reality is, the selectors played the same guys all game every game.
Williams, Taylor, Lomax, Vaai, SBarrett, Savea, BBarrett, DMac JBarrett, and Ioane, all basically started every game this year, and played huge minutes. Cane, Jordan, Clarke and Patty T played every game they were available. Once Sititi took his chance, he played non stop. ALB locked in one bench spot, and started any time JB didn't. EdG was the other one if he didn't be a bit naughty.
Those guys played nearly the whole season in terms of the minutes available. No one else got a reasonable shot at anything. -
