It’s kind of like 2-3 years ago where every Rugby thread became “Foster sux, he’s fat, he’s too nice to be a coach, he’s out of his depth, he should be fired and he’s fat”

Bride left in tears after guests ordered pizza at her wedding

The unnamed woman, 28, took to Reddit to admit that she has not eaten dairy or meat products for three years and decided to have an all-vegan reception dinner.

She got what she deserved. Serves her right leaving the guests hangry

The only dispensation is if they were advised beforehand. And I'm inclined they probably were because no vegan of three years hasn't told every living thing she's come across during that time.

I shamefully glanced over the article before my last post and they explicitly stated they didn't tell guests.

There is no shame in that. It is the way.

@Catogrande agree except I do eat meat, and feed my kids meat, out of principle, not just because I like it. It is a healthy, nutrient dense form of protein that cannot be replicated with plants. Honestly parents that refuse to feed their children meat are neglecting them IMO.

That’s not quite the same. You eat meat and feed it to your kids because you’re not a stupid fluffybunny.

    Different.

Alright mate, we can't all be scholars all the time though. I feel dirty for actually reading an article.

Well perhaps you’ll think twice next time. Lesson learned we hope.

This article is worth a read for a chortle.

I like how the ex employee who is “IT illiterate” still managed to change a bunch of phone numbers to send photos of shit.

    @Bones

Yeah that's hard hitting news alright. However it does shed light on something that a compliance officer had told me. It was about a guy that did a lot of cash work which he didn't declare and he was very careful of how he spent this cash. HMRC were all over him but couldn't find a thing - until that sourced his wife's supermarket loyalty cards which showed a spending far in excess of his declared income.

Watch out, the gummint's a coming for yer.

That’s a lot of cinnamon swirls but I notice he has sugar free red bulls and diet cokes as well which is fine because that will cancel out the sugar from them

Never any swirls left? Try a Pain au Raisin. Or 411 of them.

I am inclined to cut the media more slack than most, but fucking hell...

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/360554382/orion-paints-over-beautiful-tino-rangatiratanga-flag-mural-christchurch-substation

Company removes unauthorized painting/mural from own property should not be a story, let alone a story that is sympathetic to the illegal work simply because it's issue du jour.
