@canefan plot twist, the pizzas were all Margherita or Veggie Volcano.

I dare say if they'd communicated it, the guests might have dealt with it better.

What's the point in that?? Pepperoni all the way!!

Bride left in tears after guests ordered pizza at her wedding

The unnamed woman, 28, took to Reddit to admit that she has not eaten dairy or meat products for three years and decided to have an all-vegan reception dinner.

She got what she deserved. Serves her right leaving the guests hangry

TBH, and I know I'm not following the Fern tough guy rule, but those guests need to grow the fuck up, unless the food was completely shit. I've had some great vegan food despite the fact I'm not a vegan. Also, would those guests order pizzas at a wedding where the food is essentially vegan due to the bride's religious beliefs?

Disclaimer, in true Fern fashion I didn't read the article and maybe she's just a bitch and the food was dire.

What is this exactly ? I don’t think there’s any tough guys on here

@Catogrande agree except I do eat meat, and feed my kids meat, out of principle, not just because I like it. It is a healthy, nutrient dense form of protein that cannot be replicated with plants. Honestly parents that refuse to feed their children meat are neglecting them IMO.

No-one is a meat eater out of principle, we eat meat because we like it.

Meat was key to our evolution. If we'd stayed just eating plants we'd still be swinging from the trees like our furry cousins. Veganism is a lifestyle choice mainly afforded to those affluent enough and lucky enough to be able to make that choice

The only dispensation is if they were advised beforehand. And I'm inclined they probably were because no vegan of three years hasn't told every living thing she's come across during that time.

Aquatic foods were probably not necessary to make a bigger brain, but our evolution was undoubtedly abetted by our ancestors' willingness to try new foods, including those found near and under water.

I shamefully glanced over the article before my last post and they explicitly stated they didn't tell guests.

Yes but even so you should cater for everyone. A chick I worked with whose wedding I went to years back was religious and a non drinker but she still ensured there was beer and wine for those who wanted to indulge which was awesome.

No one wants fucken veganism inflicted on them even for one night !

It’s kind of like 2-3 years ago where every Rugby thread became “Foster sux, he’s fat, he’s too nice to be a coach, he’s out of his depth, he should be fired and he’s fat”

That’s not quite the same. You eat meat and feed it to your kids because you’re not a stupid fluffybunny.

    Different.
