That 10 - 12 channel looks sturdy. Gameplan must be to hand the All Blacks the ball and smash them in defence.

The rest looks almost sensible, like the coaching staff have a clue. If they wanted to end certain careers you'd think they woukd have waited for any Bledisloe Test not played in Australia.

It is a tactical masterpiece on reflection; not content with two props, two locks and then two opensides, now they're going for two 10s as well.

What is the saying? When you have two first fives you have none.

Between Foley and Cooper they probably have less than that.

well. he did it, the crazy bastard. Easy defensive game, rush Cooper, force him deeper, and without anyone to dump it to but another 10. I expect a lot of ball to be kicked to our back 3 this week.

That's a fucked up looking 23.

Simmons possibly a scapegoat but like most of his games I have seen him play he has been absent so he won't be missed.

Not massive. Certainly not the spilling of blood some were calling for. I see it like this:

Coleman is a promising youngster at 24 - big lump, over 2m tall. Has skill and aggression, which he'll need to bring all of on the weekend.

Fardy was a natural choice to strengthen the lineout (not that he's going to help piss-poor throwing) and add niggle.

THe Quade/Foley combo is a result of losing 2 second fives, and Horne, to fill the hole at 12. Fuck knows who will defend the 10 and 12 channel!

Kerevi at 13 is defensively... uh... sheet. I suspect he'll be crashballing off Foley's shoulder a LOT, and try to take out the new hyphen wearing black 12.

Skelton is there to add impact late in the game

Kuridrani is there because metric fuckton of injuries

Hodge is there for the same reason. Plus he can play basically anywhere from second five back, so he's useful. Kid has pluck, a bit of pace, and ability to get through contact.

We're still probably fucked, but I'm interested to see how Coleman goes on a wet and shitty Wellington night.

I'm no rocket scientist, but I expect the ABs will throw some heavy traffic down that 10-12 channel. Savea will be salivating at the thought if it.

I think the forecast is that the weather will be pretty good, some rain in the morning clearing to a fine day/evening.

Normally I'm incredibly wary of any Aus side, but damn the ABs should pump the living shit out of that lot. The only thing that will defeat them is complacency and I reckon there might be plenty of that. How do you mentally prepare for Cooper at 10 and Foley at 12 other than by wondering if Cheika is just taking the piss?

I hope Barrett destroys the prick.

I don't hate Cooper like so many kiwis seem to but seeing him and Foley eat dirt as big hard running munters like Kaino, Read, Fekitoa and Savea trample them would be most satisfying.

Back to UB40 there's actually two bands calling themselves that and touring as if one UB40 wasn't bad enough.

They are facing legal action though, maybe we could sue the NZRU and get them to stop calling the bloody sevens team the all blacks?

Ha, true I remember reading that. Not unlike the situation where Dave Gilmour tours with "Pink Floyd" and Roger Waters tours and does what songs he is legally allowed to ( all that embarrassing loudspeaker shit from the Wall era which sucks shit in comparison )

Two UB40s really is hell on earth.

On Cooper, there's any number of guys who've put some dirty cheap shit on Richie over the years, they don't get the same treatment. Grow up Stuff and Grow up New Zealand. You're just making fluffybunnies of yourselves now.
