SA currently 228/8..

Great bowling effort.. But im guessing our batsmen will be lucky to get past 100...

Both sides look like 200 all out without their 2 decent batsmen doing something good. In which case they might be 300 all out. Makes for a great series.

We chipped away nicely. The saffa batsmen looked good in parts but we stuck to our guns.

Dougie and Wags add some nice intangible guts effort and attitude to the mix

Can that fuckwit ANZ bank stump up some more of our fees to get Bondy on a consultant role. He can learn Wagner an inswinger coming back to a right hander camped back in his crease and remind Timmee what the new ball is for.

Wagner with an inswinging yorker and Southee not giving 4 balls and we're well set.

Well bowled Boulty today too!

ps hard job finding highlights on the interweb...

Watched the highlights between Olympic pole vaulting today. Fantastic catch by Kane in the gully, one handed, flying sideways...gees he is a sharp fielder. Just the man you want there, how often does he pluck one out of nothing.

    Delayed start due to rain.

Picked up wicket of Steyn in 2Nd over before taking new ball.

Won't be easy batting conditions today with the added moisture in the air. Both boult and Southee getting good swing

Looking at the swing Boult is getting, NZ will probably be a bit nervous thinking about what Philander and Steyn will do with it against out somewhat fragile batting line-up.

Maybe SA should declare.

Thats it, all over, SA all out for 263.

Now we get to bat in overcast swinging conditions.

Will watch Guptil and Latham's cheap dismissal with calmness because its inevitable. Will then watch Kane and Rosco like this.

Captain Obvious would like all to know that Dale Steyn is one hell of a bowler.

Just need to see out a few overs here. I don't want Williamson in for at least a few overs.

I hope we can get through the first 12-14 overs - RSA change bowlers may not have the conmtrol of Steyn/Philanderer

Fuck, this is impossible. Test against one of the best pace attacks going around and the ABs are playing wallabies at the same time - much channel flicking ensuing

Fuck me, we bowl RSDA out dirt cheap in middling conditioons, but as soon as we get to bat, the conditions are ideal for high speed swing and seam - just like in England last year

Dale Steyn is a sensational bowler. I could watch him all day, just magic what he does with the ball.

It also helps that he is the identical twin of Gary Oldman in the Fifth Element :)
