Hurricanes v Chiefs
-

Cruden's level has not dropped.

But Road Runner Barrett has just shot past him. I don't think it's even debatable that Barrett should start for NZ, and I will consider it a black mark against Hansen if he goes with Cruden. So it then becomes Sopoaga vs Cruden...vs McKenzie for the bench role.

Also, Sam Cane, dreadful telegraphed pass.

Chiefs need to score first after the break.
-

All that effort from the Chiefs over 15 minutes or more for no reward and then the Hurricanes come out of the box like One the Red with Savea’s clever feinting run over 50 odd metres – that’s debilitating.

I say Cane should have taken the 3 points at the outset of that period.

Steve Hansen has himself a couple of fairly able No 7s on show out there tonight.
-

Most of that is due to the Canes just being better. They've ridden their luck on D but kept us out, and then thy eir chances.

They look like Super rugby champions.I

I see what you are doing there, Jinxy jinxer.

I match your Jinx with pointing out how many of the first choice 'canes are injured (JTA, Goodes, Coles, NMS etc.) so the canes are playing their reserve bench so the chiefs will come home with a wet sail when the reserves run on.

C'mon the lower/eastern/western north island awesomeness!!!!

PS enjoying the game despite the unmentionable valley (rhymes with "pokes") white trash relatives all lwanting to turn up (to 11) loud trash metal while wearing their black t-shits over thier thin tattooed white thrash bodies.

Does anyone know what a deadlift is hear?
-
Very good 1st 40 for the Canes. A couple of BB specials in amongst some body on the line defense. Very impressed with the way Ricitelli has stood up in Coles absence. Has a big big future that kid.

You are, of course, the only team with an injury list... -

Yep, RR has looked damn good out there, Canes barely missing a beat without Coles.

But gotta give it to BB, that man has made the game his the past few weeks.
-

Can't remember the locks name (cos I'm drunk,sorry)...but thats almost the entire first choice tight five, but being a (very old) loose forward, apparantly these fat blokes are important no?
-

Yeah, it's only the Canes affected.... -
Cheap shot from Cane.
-

The commentators made a very good point about the quality of Barrett's kicks on the run, judicious placement of the ball on the intended target through using the correct side of his foot for that target.

Thats the thing, he has been hiding most of the season hasnt he, but jeez he has grabbed everyones attention now
-

Sam Cane is becoming Quade Cooper - just a dick at times.

DMac lost that before he put it down. Try??
