The non selection of Simon Hickey indicates that he must have tumbled remarkedly down the rankings since he was signed for the Lions.

Samoan international Michael Alaalatoa is returning to the Manawatū Turbos for the 2020 Mitre 10 Cup season.

The Crusaders prop, 28, was among three players the union confirmed had been signed on Wednesday along with former Brumbies midfielder Nigel Ah Wong and Taranaki prop Kyle Stewart.
