Not sure where else to post this:
skudz015 Hey Guys, To everyone that's been asking (and I really appreciate the support) looks like I won't be back until Super Rugby next year. Would have loved to get back out on the paddock this year but it's a bit too early and still some risk of buggering it. In the meantime will keep donning the 'HydrationTechnician' bib for the Turbo lads and I look forward to getting stuck into preseason with the Canes. I really appreciate all the messages & support , thanks a lot!!

@Stargazer The Beaver is back! Watch out Wellington.
Waikato: Jordan Trainor, Iliesa Ratuva Tavuyara, Willis Halaholo, Sam Christie, Sevu Reece, Damian McKenzie, Pele Cowley; Whetu Douglas (c), Adam Burn, Jordan Manihera, Brian Alainu'uese, Jacob Skeen, Atu Moli, Hame Faiva, Tau Koloamatangi.
Reserves: Steven Misa, Sefo Kautai, Latu Talakai, Leva Fifita, Mitch Jacobson, Isaac Boss, Stephen Donald, Tevita Taufui. -
Shaun Stevenson moving from Waikato to North Harbour for the Mitre 10 Cup next year.
Also, Jordan Trainor moving from Waikato to Auckland. -
@Stargazer Just reading that myself. Disappointing for Waikato, losing Stevenson moreso, but you can't complain if young players want to move closer to home.
An opportunity for someone to put their hand up at FB for Waikato next year via club rugby.

More Waikato news:
Head Coach Sean Botherway has re-signed for two more years
-
These Rieko Ioane stats are freakish. Particularly when you consider that his team was misfiring

That's good news, Waikato's come a long way in the last two years. Probably would've made the semis this year if they hadn't had to defend the shield against Canterbury in a midweek game (not that that's a great excuse for losing to fuckin' Northland).
Sucks Trainor and Stevenson are leaving though.

@Unco I thought Waikato showed improvement from last year.
If you compare the other teams in the Premiership, Waikato would have the least number Super rugby players in their starting XV so most of the team are coming from club rugby. When Tucker, Moli and Uhila were all injured there were a series of games that didn't include any Super reps in the forward pack.

Auckland Rugby Awards - Mitre 10 Cup Player of the Year goes to Simon Hickey - what the actual fuck.
Quite interesting they scheduled the awards to happen prior to the finals too!

@Bones Plenty of unions have already had their awards night. Not so sure what's strange about that if teams are not involved in the finals.
Ok fab.
-
@KiwiMurph Did they forget about Rieko Ioane or something?
