I've looked into the crystal ball and I can't see us losing until the second test vs Wallabies in 2019. Of course it's after we've sealed the Bledisloe for the 17th straight year and we are resting Beauden and Jordie Barrett, and Bender before the World Cup..... 😎

Christ, I was hoping a new thread meant a new start and less beating off over a guy who hasn't even played Super Rugby ( tongue in cheek or not )

Based on this logic of "sons being better than their Super 12 playing Dads" Todd Blackadders son should be approximately twice as good as Richie McCaw.

    You heard it first.

    He's the next.... Beauden.

He will bring Super rugby glory back to the Crusaders.

    No doubt. Sure thing

Finally got to see a little of Jordie in one of the Canterbury games, christ he is tall, my brother reckons 6ft 5inches. Not sure if there is any reliable stats but he certainly looks close to his lock brother Scott. I know it's way too early to say but it would be fun for the ABs in a couple years if he does progress as people hope that we could possibly get to a point of having a spare Barrett in the team. Could be quite demoralising for the opposition. 60 minutes in, time for a fresh Barrett!

I hope so cause that'll make me 6'1"

Wikipedia has Jordie at 6'5" as reliable as that can be. Anyone know any different?

The picture of Beauden, Jordie and Scott at Dagg's place for dinner showed him a good 3 inches taller than Beauden.

Unfortunately they weren't doing handstands next to each other so treat with caution

He is going to be a monster ( for a white back anyway 🙂 ) 6 foot 5 and 96 kilos at 19 , another 3 years in the gym he will be a decent sized midfielder

he's still young enough to be shoe horned into another position, lets go with, halfback, lets revolutionalise half back play with a huge 9.

@kiwiinmelb exactly, that's be looking backwards, so that's why we need to do something radical and different, hopefully it will be soon, imagine the inside backs of Jordie-Dagg-Ardie!

    @taniwharugby

Just rename the All Blacks "Wales".......Mike Phillips is the same height as me and I'm even taller than the standard 6 foot 2 that everyone on the fern is by default.

Piri was a huge halfback at times and performed very well, so you may be on to something there...

For someone who bleated about multinational corporations taking over NZ when the tppa was passed he wasn't shy about adding to kfc and Pizza Hutts balance sheets.

I won't be too upset if they lose soon in terms of the current win streak as they'll just start another one and i figure they will reach 18 eventually.

No what will be really gutting to me is the end of the current home winning streak of 43.I don't think this will be matched again in our lifetimes or ever? Would be great if they can reach 50.

Really though right now there is this feeling of dominance and inevitability about the all blacks that I haven't felt since their 23 game unbeaten run between 1987-90 when that pack was so dominant and there was daylight between them and everyone else. Even when they had their perfect season a couple of years back there were still several close games like the last minute win over Ireland etc *. All they need to do now is sack Read and the comparison for me will be pretty complete.

(*edit: except for the WC semi v SA where I was at twickers surrounded by bokke fans and completely bricking myself the whole match - i really hated that game).
