Rassie has been doing all he can do for his team to redress the officiating balance via onfield chicanery and off field skullduggery via his Estehuizen tackle practise troll video and Lions tour video debrief.
He is holding officialdoms feet to the fire. Purists will say his conduct is ill-befitting of the game, but he will have the W's in his ledger......and thats all that matters when all is said and done.
Wow. 🤣
What a load of horse shit. 🤣
"Redress the... balance" sounds like typical victim behaviour from the worst of South African fans.
I remain convinced Barnes reffed the final as he did because in part subconsciously he didn't want to be subjected to a repeat of the vile abuse he received from South Africans previously.

Funny, I thought it was in New Zealand that you could find a urinal in the shape of Barns’ head. Either way, you blame the loss of your team on the last wc final on the ref. Convenient as the last 4 games against the boks have all been loses. Different refs..

Not victims at all. He is proactively firing a couple of missive's in officialdoms direction and arguably its paid off.
Every team is getting hatcheted, but Rassie is doing something about it. Or at least endeavouring to.

It's fucking atrocious, it's gone way too far imo, even managed to trick every train station in the UK to install them in the gents. Unbelievable.
Or just a bizarre call.

surprised more hasn't been made of the Dupont situation on here, Berne was never legal in that breakdown, IMO that's a red card. First angle I saw (on twitter after the game) I thought it was deliberate but from the main camera he's clearly bumped from behind and falling, still think that supermaning in with no arms off feet and causing that kind of injury should be a red and am surprised he wasn't cited.

It would be 7-a-side inside the first quarter.
But agree wholeheartedly.
Commented on it in the England v Italy thread.
Biggest blight on the game.

Illegal for sure, no wrap and leading with the shoulder. On that alone it would warrant a yellow IMO. The damage to Dupont was clearly accidental but the question is, would that have happened if the entry into the ruck had been legal - ie would the act of wrapping have resulted in a different outcome? That’s a difficult one to rule on.

That was unreal!! The first half was intense and then the French just smashed them.
France's skills are so high. They all have good hands. They all tackle hard and accurately. Their lineouts are precise. Combine those microskills with the blitzkrieg type rugby they play where they just pour through and cause panic in the defence and they just overwhelmed Ireland. And their accuracy and hunger and speed on defence was something to behold.
Ireland's Achilles heel is the same as it ever was, they just don't have the pace or flair to score enough points to apply pressure to the opposition. And their depth is not great, the guy who replaced Lowe was a bit shit. Most of their bench is 40 years old.
France undisputed heavyweight champs now, the rest of us are chasing them
They also have that 6th sense of where their teammates are on the field. Remind me of the AB's c. 2015.

Most of the rucks have players entering without arm wrap and players not supporting their own body weight. If that were actually refereed, there would be no forwards on the pitch after 10 minutes. Du Pont got injured, feel bad for him but it’s international rugby. A tough game. I think it was an accident.

Chuck Berne in a SH jersey and there would be blood though. Just ask Swain.

Probably, I'm just going of text description of the Berne effort. Which sounds like someone doing something illegal and being really clumsy, making it even worse. So, that would be the same thing. Haven't seen it though.
