@taniwharugby An apostrophe is in the wrong place in the last sentence of that press release. Standards are slipping.
Or he only had the best wishes of one All Black...

Upvote for a new apostrophe nazi. That's my job!
Oh oh, more Storm Bloopers.

@darylmitchell one would assume he had that very conversation with the the ABs management and it was mutually decided that they'd take him along knowing he could need to head back at short notice.
This is what you'd expect/hope from any decent employer.
Maybe he should've thought responsibility about the decision & consider all it entails?
I mean it's 2024 and humans are starting down the barrel of their own extinction event due to fossil fuels and it's widely known that having kids increases your carbon footprint by magnitudes, right?

So Rieko does or doesn't have an injured hand?
Maybe Lam has a chance? -

Leave Roigard on the bench as we need impact and he can bring it.
Ratima may not have been great v England but has played well all year
Poss look at bringing CR on with 30min to go rather than 20?I think Cam gets them moving quicker and is more aggressive, be a shame for him to have less minutes.
Or do we stop looking at this in terms of better players start? The second unit played very well to kill off the game. In fact I liked their pattern better than the first half team. Cam could come on at half time. DMac was very assured when he came on too, a real impact. Patty T too
I found BB kicking annoying, but, as Beaver pointed out on Breakdown, that was a deliberate plan to destabilise English rush.
I’d say that bore fruit in second half.
It's how I always saw his plan for it. It looks like madness for a lot of the time, but it does put the opposition defence in two minds and the results of it come later in games (not all the time).

Yeah and at least one of those kicks didn't lead to a try to the opposition. Who said the ABs aren't improving?
-
@darylmitchell well moving back to rugby, I expect he knows the risk he runs to his fledgling AB career by missing these opportunities.
I mean, who knows, but maybe it had taken them a long time to get pregnant, so 'planning' it outside the AB/Super rugby season didnt work?

No midfield cover for Proctor must mean Jordie came through ok and ALB has avoided any suspension
Or this is the moment we finally see Savea covering midfield.
Make it happen Razor.

9 Roigard
21 RoigardHe’s good but not that good.
I’d start Roigard with Ratima on the bench.

Who do people keep wanting to move Sititi to 8? He’s been absolutely brilliant at 6. Just leave him there.
We are lacking a big body at 6. After they shafted Ioane we really need Finau to come good there. A loose trio with Finau at 6 and Sititi at 8 has a much better balance. Then 7 should be between Cane, Dalton, Jacobsen and Blackadder. But of course that's the problem with the squad selection, we have too many 7s and not enough 6s.

Watch out for Mathis in 2026.
Apprentice or squaddie next year I reckon. -
the constant use of the descriptor "grudge match" for this game is doing my head in.

More like a grudge match for them than us.
Johnny the tosser will be hyped watching it.
-
I am sure all the kiwis and aussies making up their backline don't care quite so much

Isn't hype around a test match what we want? Isn't that something rugby needs more of?
-
well, this isn't wrestling.
And it's 1 v 3 in the world rankings. The fact we need manufactured outrage to hype it is telling in itself.

I’m sure if Ireland win it will be a “historic victory”
