i have to say im always surprised when some of you differentiate between one journo and another....i almost never actually look whos written it and if i do i doubt i would bother to remember, i read stuff...and agree or disagree, maybe critique how theyve written it...then promptly forget most of it...honestly dont think i could tell you the vibe or angle any particular journo has

Maybe you have to read every article since the start of the international season to get an idea about what his agenda really is (hint, he fucking Haaaaates DMac)
But to start with "i hope we lose by shitloads so the coaches can pick who i want" is a fluffybunny move from a supposed journo. Then he basically goes on a long rant about the two old heads (a rant he's had before).
fair enough, cant say I have read much of his shit

The peice somewhat echoes what has been written on here doesn't it? Apart from the wanting ABs to lose bit. Or am I missing the point again?
Pretty much this, and the Blackadder to 6 and Ardie to 7 part which is less than half of people on here.

Fuck, I thought I was gonna appear a lot more on that link haha. @KiwiMurph obviously did the heavy lifting for us in that regard.
I remember us Blues fans used to always lose our shit over his articles when we were struggling haha.

Social media etiquette should not be a criteria for AB selection.
I don't think anyone said it should be. But think about it like this:
If you were a coach, and a player refused to answer a phone call explaining his non-selection, and went on to make a cryptic social media post moaning about it, would you be more or less likely to be inclined to select him in the future?
I wouldn't let that worry me, to be honest

@African-Monkey so you either go with the young guy who shows some talent or two blokes who spend more time on Instagram than they do training? At least Robertson had the balls with the selections for this one part. Both Sotutu and Akira are brats
That's idle character assassination without any evidence.
You are talking about a current MVP and a player who played over 100 games under various Blues coach and lauded for his recent fitness
-
Not sure it’s idle at all.

Does anyone think there is on onus on some of the older players to step aside when they know their goose is cooked?
The jersey is bigger than the individual and all that.
For example should Cane and TJP have stood themselves down?
The likes of McCaw timed their exits to coincide with the end of a World Cup cycle and knew when to exit stage left.

In the past players were dropped when not good enough. I can understand them wanting to play in the black jersey as long as they can, it's up the Razor to decide when their time is up

A lot of players living a charmed life which historically is not the Allblack way
Incorrect, it has been this was for many years now where it is harder to get dropped, particularly completely from the squad once you have been selected.
The ABs has been more of a club than a rep team for a very long time

Each subsequent post by @KiwiInLondon is an exercise in more obvious trolling.

Back in the day it was Playboy with a Pamela Anderson centrefold under the bed. In the modern era it’s NZ Rugby World with the Sotutu pages stuck together and a few saucy Akira pictures missing. We need a dedicated thread for these lads.

TBH I like watching a match with braille. Gives you a really good feel for the game.

You’ve made me realise that I don’t read any rugby articles at all anymore. I never go to NZH, Roar, RugbyPass. I don’t even click the links people post here
I watch games, form an opinion, then come here to have my opinions corrected by you guys.
Seems to be working ok for me so far.
