Should Ardie play 7?

Yes Ardie should play off the bench. I guess Sotutu can't play his way back via these coaches?
He would if he worked harder on both sides of the ball. It’s all his own fault.

Too much upside, not enough downside.

His big problem was actually playing Super. Should have skipped it entirely.....

I'm glad he's playing Semi Professinal rugby for Counties though currently. Really beneficial having him play down there......

Do we think Sam Cane gets his 99th on Saturday, 100th the following week and then misses EOYT?
Reckon they'll stick with him and look for new 7 the next couple of years. Dunno who though.
Lakai?
Absolutely, he'll pass everyone by the next World Cup IMO (including Ardie). Lakai will be on the EOYT, there's no better 7 in the NPC atm.
I really wouldn't be surprised if our 7 and 8 at the next WC was Lakai and Sititi.
Or 6 and 7 anyway mate, I would be comfortable either way.

Ardie would be best suited to a bench role going forward. We desperately need a traditional 6,7 and 8.

Lol, no we don't, we need busy ineffective hybrids.
Because that's how test rugby is won

Describes Razor as a player too

@mariner4life Damn I thought I had the solution there for a moment

Ouch. Maybe he also needed to get injured more often.

Title is wrong, “Should Ardie play?”
Not after that performance. He's getting worse.

Doing a bit of a Rodney, form wise.
Side note - it concerns me that our coach thinks that a rugby ball has sides. Just saying.

you know what is really weird, this forum is the only place i ever see Savea mentioned in anything but glowing terms.
If you go other places (Reddit, The Roar) he's constantly talked about as first on the team sheet, and is an absolute star that others should be selected around. BBarrett is much the same actually.

@mariner4life i know right?...are we wrong?
although i did see someone suggest last week BB playing 10 on the "internaitonal rugby" facebook group and there were a stack of comments along the lines of "god no"

Not sure what's more disturbing - that nobody else talks about Savea being poor, or that you also loiter on The Roar and Reddit...

@mariner4life This place by its very nature has very few "casual" rugby observers, I think. Those two have won WR player of the year titles, so they must be really good "foreva" right?
Besides you can't open a page here without tripping over an expert on everything.
