All Blacks vs Wallabies I

Hate to say it but the way Oz played the second half points to good coaching by Schmidt, especially after their last thrashing. Somehow Schmidt brought his team back from that disaster, they smelled AB blood in the water in the second half and full of confidence almost pulled it off. And you don’t want to play an Aussie team full of confidence. Bled 2 is going to be very interesting, and the Oz will use our shocking record in Wellington as motivation

Watched a few interviews this week in the buildup via the Allblacks media channels.
Highlights were Razor being asked about surfing with Joey Johns and Tamaiti Williams being asked about whether he gets poo on his hands changing nappies.
Ironically enough the only person with shite all over his hands is the head coach.

Sums things up these days with our gutless media too afraid to lose their accreditations.

Lies.
Our modus operandi is to play one good game followed by utter shit.
have you been out drinking with Derpus?
Given your earlier prediction you should be happy, right? -

Contrasting styles, up against a team that starts in top gear and finishes in reverse.

'We found a way' he said 3 times.....
We should never have ever been in a position to lose that fucken test in the first place!
Up 28-7 after 25 minutes. Scrape home by 3 points 31-28.
I dont know what to make of it. Mainly because I can’t recall a team that looks really good for the first half and then get worse, as the game progresses, like we do.

Another card
Clarke you moron
That was really dumb. ALB was called offside but was given a YC for 3 quick team penalties including the TW no-arms tackle.

You should be full of confidence in that case, because you didn't play well tonight.

See also Will Jordan on this.
Feel like he is overrated.
Riding the back of the space created by better AB teams.
Love would be a better option at 15.
Jordan is a 14 or nothing. While your point on his position may have merit I think you are harsh on Jordan there. He has scored tries from nothing that basically no other Allblack has been doing since “PlayStation Beaudy”.
Jordan’s tries against Ireland in the cake tin, the chip and chase against Wales and USA, the semi final try against Argentina display a skill nobody else in the squad has shown us. The only other time an Allblack has created a “hold my beer” moment in recent memory was Roigard against the Boks in Twickenham.
And remind me, what position was he playing when he scored those tries?

@mariner4life ah yes, TV speakers tell the story. Noted
Just because it fresh in my mine…I suggest you watch the last quarter of the afl prelim…couldn’t hear the commentators over the crowd noise
-
With a 10 who isn't a scatterbrain still thinking he's playing Super Rugby and a 13 who can pass, that game is done and dusted by halftime.
Would agree though that the tries conceded were as soft as as fűck. Definitely a concern.

Winger, although to be fair he actually scored some of the tries mentioned from infield, something he could do more readily from fullback.

Back from the game!
Amazing experience
The way the AB’s built into that, unleashing dry powder in small increments whenever required, just a masterclass in modern rest match rugby.
The crowd was also unbelievable, the noise and energy just took it to another level.
Hard to imagine us losing a game on the EOYT tour from here, or even through RWV 2027 really
Hopefully NZR is extending Razors contract tonight before SA make him an offer he can’t refuse
-
Aumua (4), Ioane and Cane (3) had the most missed tackles. Savea and Ioane with 3 turnovers lost each.
I voted for Rieko on the strength of his scrambling defence so that stat surprised me. Savea made the most tackles (17) but not a dominant tackle amongst them.

Nah I’m good, thanks though.

I wonder if they counted his tackle on one of the aussies as he was diving over for a try...?

They are dire. Most of the players speak in this weird pseudo corporate soundbites. Sound stupid and actually say nothing of consequence.
Savea is the worst.
I’d rather they just let them be themselves and say what they want instead of praising their teammates for being humble, find everything exciting and they walk towards pressure 🤮

I've just wasted 5 minutes of my life unsuccessfully looking for an "Irony Klaxon" gif....
