There is very little impact on that bench overall.
Yup, aumua could be impactful, I guess. And Beaudy had this season. But ofa only impact will be stupid penalties and cards. Fletcher is nothing. That is a vanilla bench
I just edited my post and looks like we completely agree.

I’ll freely admit to not knowing the intricacies of loose forward play like some on here but I will say that Sititi playing six in his third test in a game of this magnitude is absolutely FUBAR
Hopefully some one wise can tell when he last started at six in a first class game, if ever
-
Surely Sititi plays the role of an 8 with the exception of packing onto the side of the scrum. Biggest concern is lineout. A lot of pressure on our two smaller locks. It’s all in on the speed game obviously. We might win well or we could crash and burn badly this week. It doesn’t seem like good odds. I feel like Jacobsen could add some steal at the end.

i honestly am happier to see them try something than blackadder again
-
@Kiwiwomble you are appropriately named. Blackadder has been in of the best AB’s this season and clearly would have started again.
-
@Stag yeah, he would have started again if fit, but the coaches are looking pretty silly right now having to play a rookie in an unfamiliar position when Blackadder very predictably got injured again.

Last year?
Wallace Sititi admits he hasn't played six in quite some time.
It's quite possibly a move that has a bit of an experimental feel to it looking further ahead in the futuree -

It’s not an unfamiliar position and they’re hardly the first set of coaches to make a move like this.
If we are wanting to up the tempo then Sitiiti is a good selection.

@Boston-Boy you’d rather have the player Blackadder repeatedly bullied in super rugby play off games? Akira is only good when he’s the biggest player on the pitch. Complete marshmallow when he’s not. Short term memory buddy

No Blues in the starting pack* and the only 2 Blues starters (Ioane and Tele'a) are arguably the most controversial. But is Paps injured? Or did somebody disparage his character i.e. a Pap smear?
Somebody please reach out to @Tim and make sure he's ok...NB Looks like apart from Aumua they aren't expecting the bench to speed things up when they come on...
*Fair enough, what did any Blues forwards win or dominate recently..

Apart from Aumua and Barrett on a good day there is little impact on that bench overall.
snap.
