Prediction:
Rangi won't be the last All Blacks assistant coach to get fired/walk this year.
Hopefully Holland does aswell…. purely for the fact he’s a dilbert and isn’t good enough to be in that role.

“Didn’t quite click”
Leon is the reason Ardie hasn’t been selected at 2nd 5. Sounds like a good enough reason to part ways.

Haven’t read the whole thread so excuse if it’s been covered, who is the defense coach? Was it McDonald ?
Scott Hansen I believe is defence coach
excellent. razor has fired the wrong coach

Too many Crusaders, not enough horses.

The timing is a bit weird.
Early disagreement on backline for Boks?

McDonald has been a head coach since the last time they worked, so that can change a lot of a dynamic. I think this is totally fine, in a high performance environment you need focus and clarity - if it is not working then you need someone to change or move on.

Anyone remember a few weeks ago what I was saying about this Leon McDonald situation? I can’t remember what thread it was in, maybe AB’s 2024. I wasn’t just saying stuff for the sake of it after all… 👀
Pre or post Poms?

I wonder what the tipping point was?
Was it when Leon said Breaking wasn't a proper Olympic sport?
Or was it when he said Surfing shouldn't be in the Games either?

Without really knowing why MacDonald has left, I am not too surprised apart from how early a change has occurred. From memory it seemed Razor wasn't shy about changing up his assistants when at the Saders.

that's exactly it according to Razor, did you just read the article?
He said he and MacDonald “hadn’t foreseen’’ any potential differences before the coaching team was formed, otherwise “we wouldn’t probably have gone down that line”.
“But as we got into the coaching we realised our philosophies and just the way we click and see the game is a little bit different now.
“Obviously being a head coach for a long period of time, you see things differently.”
“As we started getting hands-on, things have just differed."
understandable, 8 years since they last coached together.

Sounds like me before I got married

Genuinely a concern that the coaching group is falling apart after only 5 tests. They have worked together before and I would hope of known what was expected promised etc. Not sure this is what we were sold.
Are my eyes deceiving me or are you questioning the coaches?
Is it the status quo actually changing that makes you uncomfortable?
