The Boks have an aging team.
They'd better hope the new guys are as good as what has come before.

Even though I think Proctor is our best 13, I just can't see them throwing him into a test like this. Hopefully a bench spot maybe but I definitely don't think he'll start.

    @Frank

Every team is ageing. When the ABs next play they will be 2 weeks older than when they played Argentina.

    😉

It’s not a problem for the Boks at the moment but they will lose a lot of experience over the next 12-24 months

Ageing but not like Agustín Creevy I hope who turns 40 next March.

Are the Boks World Champions? Yes, they've won the last two World Cups.

Are they above us in the world rankings? Yes, they are top. We're third. https://www.world.rugby/rankings

Are they above us in the Rugby Championship table? Yes.

Are they favourites? Of course. (See Above)

Do we have a chance? For sure.

Is it going to be hard? Absolutely bloody hard. But that's why you play the game.

What would winning a series in South Africa mean? Next to winning World Cups it's the apex.

    Go Black!

That is some ugly reading. Ironic that Ian McIntosh got fired after recording our best result at Eden Park in the last 90 years

@nostrildamus The series win in 1996, keeping the Boks to 0 at Newlands in 2008 and the last minute win at Soccer City in 2010 meant a lot me to me than reaching 50 unbeaten at Eden Park.

I'd wager there's a lot more South African fans who'd attend a match at Eden Park today, might tip it back more in your favour..

This is true, however the average age of the Bok starting 15 last saturday was 27. New Zealand average age of starting 15 a week ago was 28. (I can't find stats for saturdays AB game on the AB website)

@pakman shit I just realised Ratima and Finau have the same initials as their future replacements.

I have a bizarre feeling we are going to beat them twice.

We are due some luck on the card front. Reckon 1 or 2 of their okes get "sent".

    Allbacks by 15+

I just can't see us winning both. But I can definitely see them dropping their guard for one, most likely the second when they've already tied up the RC.

First half will be massive. Aim being to burn off Bok starting fatties by halftime.

Stand by for 'innovative' Rassie time wasting...
