Great another injured outside back with Whaanga down
-
Awesome work from Whaanga. Shit Gilbert just can't move laterally. Has to stop to change direction.
-
Gilbert's complete inability to move at pace, like a top quality rugby player cost us that try.

Unbelievable try saver by Lam, credit where credit is due.
Funaki going off is huge.
Yeah great from Lam. Gilbert is still a carthorse and can only run straight though.
-
Tanielu Tele'a's inputs are always positive so far in the NPC.

Plays like a person with half his physical traits.

Such a weird player. If you list his physical attributes and skills, you'd say shit we have the golden goose. Then you see him play and think WTF.

Have I mentioned I don't like this "can't play the halfback" rule?

So what is the actual rule? When can you touch the halfback?
Roigard is going to have a field day when he returns.

Impressed with Hurley to qrap up Ioane after initially getting beaten

My understanding is there's a cone of invincibility of a metre at each ruck for halfbacks where they can't be touched.
Fuck knows why.

Ffs just another pointless rule being introduced.
