@Landers92 and so we go around the viscous circle...with only 5 home games (we have mroe in club rugby)...theyre trying to wring every cent....which puts people off going....

@Kiwiwomble at what point do the realize they’ll most likely bring in just as much money on ticket sales even if they lowered tickets to $15? More people, more money. $32 Just seems crazy. Anyway, it is what it is.

Whats your score prediction for tonight?

Faleafaga playing Bs is just weird IMO.

Hard to see anything other than Auckland pummelling us, so naturally TUJ will have a stormer and it will be relatively close. Still think Auckland get it done though.

@Landers92 said in Otago v Auckland:

Just thought I’d take a look at the ticket prices for the game tonight… $32 for 1 adult. Nothing short of daylight robbery to be paying $32 to watch an NPC game, what a joke. No wonder people aren’t turning up these days. For reference, Canterbury have adult tickets for $10.

Surely half the attendees will be freebies. It is a low draw comp. But you need to give yourself the best opportunit possible by making tickets accessible. Dunedin is a low wage economy. They need to get bums on seats

I'll take that start. Arscott should have just scored himself though

Great bit of footy from Hurley. Incredible offload. Some x-factor we didn’t see last week, good to see. Good start

Really impressive defensive organisation by Otago until Segner does something special.

Yuck. You've just created space and you do that. Fuck I hate the kiwi propensity for a dink.

I don't love Funaki stepping before passing.

Brilliant try. Man Gilbert looked pedestrian though. Looked remarkably like Withy.

Awesome work from Whaanga. Shit Gilbert just can't move laterally. Has to stop to change direction.

Gilbert's complete inability to move at pace, like a top quality rugby player cost us that try.

Unbelievable try saver by Lam, credit where credit is due.

    Funaki going off is huge.
