A thread for mentioning the guys playing well. I didn't watch closely enough to do a form xv. Someone else might want to have a crack at that

Kade Banks - I always thought of him as a tidy efficient winger but not much more. He looked dangerous on the weekend. The NH back three will cause trouble this year (Stevenson & Maka)

Suafoa - seeing more an more of the subtle touches to go with the hard work

He's someone who could kick on and become a real contender. Fingers crossed - ther'es a lot of opportunity at 6 around the country at the moment!

Agree. He was a bit sloppy with the ball at the start. I haven't noticed that in his game before so hopefully it is not a problem for him.

Gibson Popoali'i. I liked his individual try for Counties against Taranaki.

Kyle Preston and Du Plessis Kirifi were very influential in Wellington's win over Auckland.

Fakatava doing his annual NPC dominance.

Sean Withy for Southland was nothing short of outstanding. Had he still been with us, I feel we may have won. That’s how influential he was.

Mate I got fairly big wraps on this fella. Could be because I've seen a fair bit of him being a Naki man. But think he got a lot of what I like in a 10.

Brodie McAlister was strong for Canterbury not just the maul tries but in general
Jamie Hannah the other Canterbury stand out.
Levi Amua also strong off the bench for Ta$man.

I thought hae had an outstanding game

    Passing 👍
    Running 👍
Kicking. Up and unders maybe not so good by line kicking was 👍
    Decision making 👍
Defence I think was good too

I will follow him closely from now on

But keep this up and he should be certain to get a SRP contract

He is outstanding. I truly believe he has all the tools to continue on and push for higher honours in the future.

Only watched the Northland Vs Canterbury game. I thought Heremaia Murray was the most dangerous back on display

Does Heremaia Murray have a Super contract for 2025? He would be a awesome player to replace Moorby at the Canes.

He worked well with Cashmore against CM.

@antipodean also with Trask in first game, his pinpoint 50/22 outstanding

Not someone you say is an all attack player, but links well, defends well, and actually has tactical nous.

To be honest and maybe a bit controversial but I thought he was often better at fullback for AKL than Perofeta
