The reasons for a national stadium keep adding up.
Naming rights look good too.
And it will stop cities building stadiums they need once every few years.
Built slightly north of wellington so it's easy access for the whole country.
With great training facilities nearby and even an outdoor activity arena with breweries.
Trentham here we come!
Yep so long as you don't want to attract out of town fans as f*** all accomadation around Trentham.
Buy a tent ya f****** p****

not sold out yet? dont know if this has changed much since yesterday
Quite frankly, that’s shithouse and oh so provincial
We need redbeard here to talk about the costs of the tickets, parking, beers, chips etc to point out where the problem lies. I've just put in and for two adults, two children it's 300 for the end. 500 for the middle.
I guess there will be another hundy spend on that so 400 or 600.
Actually, thats not too bad I suppose.

too many games in Welly. And this isn't the attractive one. And yet places like the Tron don't get one ... I dno't get it. Spread them around FFS
I say the oppostie, all of them in Eden as that's where the numbers and money is

I get it - but how many people are going to go to Argentina if it's the 6th home game for the season?
Edit: Argentina x2! And Englad x2, and Aus x2. Is that really viable?

It is Eden, it is Wellington

But as a percentage Auckland is much bigger pop than London, Paris, Edinburgh etc. So, in theory, it should work better to have all the games in the biggest stadium in the biggest (by a HUGE margin) pop centre
-
You need games in smaller centres but don't overdo it
-
Could Auckland sustain 3-4 home tests per year?

@DaGrubster said in All Blacks vs Argentina I - 10 August:
With our record there, I’d be happy for them to be banned from hosting again!
Any stadium that doesn't sell out should be banned from games for 10 years, absolutely shit to not sell out. Previously it was only that bloody cantabs that would do this

Bugger off Grubs, it's easier for me to get to Wellington!!!
To be fair neither test in Wellington gets your juices running to much this year, Want the Boks!!!!! -

Perhaps they have to sell at inflated prices knowing they're covering for all the unsold tickets
-
The old catch 22 right there
