Yeah bit dissapointing since the last few ABs captains have been such interesting raconteurs
Cane, Read, McCaw...
Don’t forget Rueben Thorne.

@Machpants sorry if I have an opinion that you don't like. Your safe space and cuddly toy are to your left. Your therapist is on her way.

We went straight into the test series against Ireland with no warm up games either, if memory serves me correct. Last year we went straight into the RC without any warm ups, though that was a condensed year due to the RWC.
I feel like we are giving the Northern sides an advantage by not scheduling a warm up against at least one of the Island nations. It also gives them a chance to play a tier 1 side more regularly so win win.
NZRFU taking a leaf out of the Black Caps' book of preparing for a big series?

@antipodean Is Brekky Creek still a classic?

I shed some tears, too, when it was announced he was starting.

AND DO ANY talking on the filed
But not with his shoulder to someone lying in a ruck
Might as well just cut out his tongue and be done with it

It is for me, not that I get to frequent it much these days. But being a local always helped I think because RSA didn't seem to apply to us for some reason. 15 mins to walk downhill there and about 60mins to walk home
-
@antipodean Haven't been for at least 15 years, since my brother moved back home.

Ray we got this

Serious challenge as a first match for the new coach.
-
Game day , I feel positive for some reason , just liking the vibe I’m getting from the camp , let’s go baby

@Frank Your safe space and cuddly toy are to your left cup cake.
Are you finished cuddling with it now?

After 20 years of the same All Blacks coaching tree - new regime finally starts tonight!
Long term - excited to see some innovation with our top talent at Razor and co's disposal, but tonight - I want to see some smart, clinical rugby. Set pieces on point. Great defensive lines. Grind England out. -
-
The old question: how will we cope with the rush defence?
Will be interesting to see which players are used as ball-carriers close to the ruck and off slow ball.

Great move:
