Japan were going to get belted regardless of their coach...

True
But tactically they were poor
That’s coaching (or lack there of)

has he just run out of ideas?

From an NZ perspective
England 10-12-13 channel is porous
Keep Earl quiet and England lose 9 times out of 10
Big drop off in quality and accuracy when England bring on the bench

England's first XV will be a handful, but yeah the ABs will have a much better bench.

England looked well drilled. Japan looked like they'd been coached by "Smash N Grab", apart from their scrum which was very good.

If Dan Cole is their best tighthead, they're in for a torrid time at the scrum.
Also Mounga from Wish is a pea hearted defender.

No sound on, was there actually a decent reason why an early tackle 5m out that results in a YC isn't a PT?
Cover from England 3
Hilarious
Not at all. Cole is very strong in the tackle, has great footwork and is very pacy. Moreover his speed to get up from the tackle and make another is unrivalled.
OK yeah, a good case for a PT.

Eddie did as with Oz, playing utter noobs. Fullback had never played Pro rugby before
And yet with England he was
veryreluctant to try new guys. Kept lots of the older guys on well passed their use by dates. It almost seems as though he just doesn't care quite so much anymore. Whatever the state of Aussie rugby may or may not be, he fucked them and some newbies royally in the last RWC. -

Will Charlie Ewels be available for the NZ games?
That should be the end of his England career no matter what and many England fans would breathe a sigh of relief.
