Boy, the Chiefs played a much smarter game than the Canes, and if they get front foot ball can be a nightmare to play.
Seriously though, whoever can up with the game plan to kick away all their ball was dumb as a rock.
Lots of injuries in both teams too.

For all our backline flair, and athletic attacking players, we won that with linespeed and ruck pressure. Every Hurricanes player was constantly under pressure.
But, the Canes worked out how to beat it, play straight and hard. JBarrett for first carrynthen everyone else off that was hard to stop, but a Chiefs defender just kept getting off the line and in their face.
After most of our existence being defined by being flakey, that's fun to watch.

This year went a lot better than I expected at the start. Really proud of the squad's efforts.
Looking forward to what the squad will achieve next season with Ardie Savea and Cam Roigard back.
