Hurricanes v Highlanders

I'll say if these were two even teams, reckon you could make an argument that this wind is nearly worth 15 points... the issue is, defensively they are too big and quick for us, and we don't have the kicking talent in the backline to exploit them.
Finn Hurley, I can't question his attitude, energy and endeavour, but he is just so clearly too small. He can't make breaks, and just gets folded despite plenty of effort. A great rugby player, but just too small.

@Machpants it’s blowing a gale mate. Even in the stands shits flying everywhere. No chance getting kick offs tonight. It’s a lottery.

Speaking of kick offs. Ajay just has to send that deep instead of trying to go short.
It definitely looks like the Highlanders are playing into the wind with watching the flight of the ball holding up and blowing back a few metres. Theres no doubting the canes have been playing with the wind.
Hopefully we can capitalize on it

Had the Canes not scored that last try, you'd have said the Clan had done a good job considering the conditions.

I realize the conditions, but they are letting it bounce, which is dumb as

All that good work only to be let down by a horrendous kick chase because the ball wasn’t on their side of the field so they think they could slack off. Poor. That can be the difference between winning and losing(not in this game but in general, the 1%ers).
