Funny sort of game. But very enjoyable
Cameron has easily his best game this year. Proctor was outstanding. One player who we can't lose as it showed in recent weeks.
IWL was much better compared to recent performances too.
I agree with Proctor. Billy is clearly a AB squad member this year and could be a member of the gameday 23 if Rieko has another head knock.
IWL is a flat track bully - only looks good against teams with poor locks.
I agree with Proctor in ABs, but by christ there were 2 bloody good 13s on field tonight. I though (even as a Canes man) ALB was very bloody good too.

Didn’t realise it until I watched the last 20 again but Delany must have come on and then gone off with injury again. Howden was playing lock in that last 20 mins.

Well...
... good game.
Enjoyed it.
Despite the best efforts of the league media rugby isn't dead and crikey look at that crowd for a dead sport.
Good on Canes good for the win.
Inches in it either way, so often.
Best thing for me was Samisoni remembering he is Taukei'aho...

@antipodean I’d be annoyed if Havili gets in over Proctor or ALB. Both players should be in there.
How many midfielders do we think the all blacks will take? I’ve got them taking the 5 below, in no particular order.
Jordie Barrett
Billy Proctor
ALB
Reiko Ioane
And my gut tells me that Razor will stick with Havili even though he has been well below average this season. Hes picked due to the fact he can trust him and knows what he can do(also his versatility). That means McLeod and Tupaea both miss out.

Only caught the highlights but that ALB try assist was very slick, still has some of the old magic

In my view the final pass was a clear forward pass. He was lucky to get away with it

So were we on our try, clear forward pass missed a few phases earlier

I queried it at the time. Replay looked back out of the hand.

AB watch - Proctor's form is impossible to ignore. ALB and Jordie put in huge shifts yesterday as well. Feel it may be Tupaea will be the one to miss out, just needs to work on his decisions on D a bit more.

@Bovidae yeah there were a few bemusing calls against both sides which left players scratching their heads.
One example when I watched the replay was that Jordie was blowing up at Williams after he rushed his kick right on the hooter because Williams' comms weren't clear, Jordie actually had a lot more time than he thought he had.
When Jordie confronted him about it, Williams just laughed at Jordie and ran off the field. Little things like that can be costly to a team in a big game of that magnitude.
