Not sure how Blues can take the 10 jersey off of Plummer. He's in the form of his life

Perofeta back to 15, since Sullivan is out again. Forbes stays as super sub.

    HP to kick the goals!

Well played both sides. Blues won today, but seriously, there is nothing splitting these sides.

One of those games where no one deserved to lose.

Overall a fantastic game of rugby, probably the game of year, well played Blues. Felt we did bloody well without our two most important players in Lomax and Proctor. Lakai and Numia boosted their AB chances, Iose was very quiet but hope he sparks up in the playoffs.

Forbes is playing better than Perofeta was.
    What's Perofeta advantage over him?

With about 2 to go and the Canes are in attack I turned to my son and said see that number 5, he will cost the Hurricanes the game.

He had a shocker and then was way too casual and loose at the crunch.

Love his game, but not to go all Blackdragon, he is pretty small for a loosie and that ability to absorb the grind and hits of test footy may not suit.

@ACT-Crusader wasn't he wearing 4 haha? Yeah, he was aweful tonight when the pressure went on. The Canes need to start Delany and Sangster moving forward.

@ACT-Crusader he's only 6kg heavier than Ardie, the best loosie in the world. Apparently the guy is made of granite, I've heard hitting him is like smacking concrete. I think he'll be perfectly fine at test level.

Lakai , Paps, Sotutu, Savea, Iose. Abundance of talent for the ABs.

Loosey stocks are stacked for the ABs. Only Boks come anywhere close.

Yeah can't help but feel those pre game losses for the canes tipped it in favour of the blues. Sullivan went decent but Proctor's organisation was sorely missed and again while Tosi played well, Lomax is at the top of his game.

I think that's the first full game I've watched all year and it was a cracker. not much beween these sides - Canes 10 still the weakest link it seems.

Blues basics very strong. When they go one off the ruck it's hard physical stuff that wears people down. Clenaouts were excellent, ball presentation really solid from both sides.

fun game, went to the wire. Could be a decider in the wash, like the Reds taking it our over the Crusaders when they went to the title (fingers crossed).

Ref was generally solid. Akira yellow - it's the lawbook but man if you go lower and hit heads you're in as much trouble. Massive jeopardy cleaning rucks.
No mention of the late hit on Plummer? Looked very light on arms from where we were sitting.

All in all, great contest, lots of fun.

Not much between these sides. Any of the Blues, Chiefs or Hurricanes could win the title. All very open this year.

also special mention to the Blues restarts - contesting them and taking their own. Impressive, well drilled.
