<p>When you think about D,are we seeing the loss of Nonu/Conrad and McCaw?  All of them absolutely solid one-on-one in D, but read the game well so awesome cover defenders and perhaps that's what is missing....the right man scrambling back to the right place to slow the ball down for the mili-second right amount of time.</p>

<p>The player some considered the weakest link in the backs - Crotty - has actually been one of the best. 11, 13, 14 and defensively also 15 have been poor. Cruden having a good game, except ... his goal kicking.</p>

<p>Captaincy or playing? He's been getting through a shit tonne of work and that dive to secure the ball was almost a carbon copy of McCaw.</p>

<p>I hope Barrett comes on early, Naholo is compounding his poor play by looking disinterested and lazy.</p>

<p>He is tackling like a demon and has very handy at the breakdown. If he doesn't top the tackle count after 80 I will be shocked (Savea surely replaces Kaino).</p>
