Is there a more cheat-y team in the red zone then Ireland?
Crusaders.

Yes. Ireland with yet another cynical hold on on the line. Punished!
Didn’t even let go AFTER the ref told him!

Entitlement is a bitch.

Just sourced the Heaslip quote. He actually said, for England to win Ireland would have to go down to 14 or 13 men. Apologies for the previous mis-quote.

Pleased to see this diving bullshit go unrewarded, except to cement Furlong's reputation.
Would have had a look personally
I think if you are coherent enough to take a ridiculous dive, then you are probably fine.
Only reason to stop the game would be to laugh at the player milking it, then carry on. -
Thank god for Clive
“Ahead of this game I wrote that to have any chance against Ireland, England simply had to play with a breakneck speed that would catch their opposition off guard,” he wrote in his Daily Mail column.
“I honestly believe that Borthwick’s players had read my pre-match column because they were so quickly out of the blocks.
“England’s first quarter showed they are improving. It was much better than we’ve seen in this Six Nations so far. England played well. I did wonder in the first 40 minutes if they had real belief they could win the game. But as the match progressed, that belief grew.”

TBH Before the weekend I don’t think many would have disagreed with much of what they said.

Saying the tournament has been poor?
Deluded

Agreed on that point, it has been absorbing all the way along but when three of the top teams are playing poorly, they maybe have a point.

All teams are playing as well as the opposition lets them.
Been fantastic rugby, loved it. No shit games that I can remember.

Not sure I agree with that bit. Wales were shit in the first hal v Scotland, not really because Scotland were that good, there were just poor. England played two games with zero ambition, they weren’t pressured into playing a dour kicking game, though there is the argument that pressure caused some of the shitness of the kicking. France have just not shown up until last weekend. However I do agree that all the games were bloody good but not because Wales were playing well or because England and France were previously.
Having said all that, I’ve enjoyed the spectacle all the way through. Strange to have the two views together I guess.

Ultimately, the quality of the tournament and the quality of the rugby are not the same thing. Some of the rugby has been very good, some of it hasn’t but the quality of the tournament has been great. It’s dependent on so many other factors, relative strength of the teams to each other, fact that Italy are on the march and their fans are coming with them, the travelling French support has been amazing, Twickenham has been woken up by the rugby, Ireland pundits have stepped up to the line with strong opinions, Wales are getting beaten, Scotland are a brilliant combination of good, overconfident and shit - mostly, the fans are having a wail of a time, it’s joyous

having this tournament where it is so easy and cheap for away supporters to travel makes me so envious. It's almost quicker (and significantly cheaper) for Scots supporters to fly to Rome than it is for me to fly to Brisbane FFS
