Back line looks better as a unit so maybe we will trust them with a bit of ball this time round?
Ollie Lawrence says "Hold my beer"....
I'm actually getting myself up for this game. Don't support either side, but think it could be a real belter.

Well, based on the Scotland game, someone else needs to hold his beer that’s for sure. In fairness though, he’s better than that game AND he had some pretty average service. Worth a bit more time I think. Nonu was a bit of a tits for hands guy at first, but seemed to turn out ok in the end.
I’m also looking forward to this game but in a strange way really. I think it is possible that we could put in a performance and slightly less possible that we could win but also feel we could get butt fucked over a barrel and then there is the potential fall out from that. Would Borthwick survive another humiliation?

I think it good Borthwick is sticking with Lawrence. Doubt if he could be worse than last week and there's clearly something worth sticking to there.
It was always going to take a season or two to drain Comical Eddie's swamp, but Borthwick really needs to show some improvement this game. The buzzards are already circling, you sense.

And I'm one of them and I've been circling for a year now. Not that I think Borthers is overly worried about me.
The thing is, in terms of how far we got, the RWC is seen as something of a success but the dross served up beforehand, subsequently and to an extent during RWC suggests otherwise. For me, getting third place at RWC does not excuse the dire stuff dished out.
As a Kiwi does second place at RWC make Foster's tenure a success for you?

Direction-wise, yes, though it was painful travel. For me the frustration was lack of consistency - brilliant one game, dross the next - but you always felt they had a big game due.
I don't get the same vibe with Borthwick's England though.

That was great from England. Ran straight and draw and pass

Do England think they are nz?! Never seen such a running English side!
