Reds vs Hurricanes

@Canes4life said in Reds vs Hurricanes:
@antipodean please, we spanked pretty much the same team in Townsville last year.
I'm confident we'll comfortably get the job done against the Reds. I think we've won our last 8 against them so I'm sure our lads will be hugely confident.
As confident as the Chiefs in New Plymouth?
-
@antipodean what's the Chiefs losing in New Plymouth got anything to do with it?
I'm happy to debate it but please actually give me a few plausible reasons you think the Reds will get the W?
They've got a decent loose trio and a solid centre pairing but their front row is fairly average, their locks are smaller than ours, and they have a centre playing fullback. Vunivalu is also out there so he's going to make atleast three or four defensive mistakes when we run down his channel.
Add in the fact we have a lot more firepower coming off the bench as insurance if things get a little testy.
Canes by plenty.

@Canes4life Hey mate, need you to calm my nerves down each week as we go into the weekend. Was a bit nervy about these Reds, but am somehwat reassured now mate!
-
@Dan54 I think it will be a good game but I just think we have too much class across the park. It's a shame Kirifi got injured because he was in great touch, hopefully Lakai can fill his shoes because he's definitely looked better at 8 than he has at 7.
It's also Jordie's 100th so the lads won't want to let this one slip.
-
The Canes brutal in defence and slick in attack. Great start.
-
Loving this defence from the Canes forwards. Howden, Walker-Leawere and Aumua all smoking their opposition.
-
@KiwiMurph going to be high scoring. Hopefully most of the points come from the Canes.
-
Who's this ref? Useless prick.
-
@Canes4life Jordan Way. Canes discipline letting them down
-
-
@KiwiMurph both well coached sides by the looks
-
@Canes4life Not sure on Laidlaw just yet
-
This is why we need neutral refs. Getting pinged off the park for god knows what.
The Canes need the pill.
