@Victor-Meldrew I don’t think Razor has asked for help. I’d say Smith was always going to be there. Like he has already this season.
Any idea on Who Razor reports to?
Is it the CEO? Or is it Wayne Smith?

Seems that most are thinking that Robertson wants to play at a fast tempo.
I agree that thats the way to go . . . but . . .To get the full benefit of that strategy it must be continued for the full 80+ minutes . . . the benefits accruing at the back end of the game, as fatigue sets in.
At the mo we start fast and finish slow . . . nah . . . not guna get it done in a tight test.
Lot of chat here about back line selections.
Dont care about that . . . the days of backline combos making much difference are gone for now.
I'm happy with just about any back seven we pick.
So long as they dont drop the f'n ball or miss tackles; they are not going to decide the game.It is the selection of the forwards that's critical, and not just the type, but also the number.
Playing 14 forwards against the likes of SA France Ireland Argies Eng is a must . . . replace the entire pack in the second half to keep the pace up.
Jeez . . . even pick 15 forwards!
And just have a goal kicking halfback on the bench . . . -

@canefan you sound like a very knowledgeable and level headed person.
How do you actually think they’re going?
Bar the Argentina result. Which was terrible. Argentina have since shown they’re actually decent.
Losing by 4 & 6 points in SA was better than I thought they’d do.
I think everyone looked at the score in Australia’s loss to Argentina and thought we’d destroy them in Sydney. I didn’t hear until after , that most of the Aussies had food poisoning. It isn't the losses it's the nature of the losses. Losing 2-1 to the no. 1 team lost year was one thing, losing it the way we did was another.
At the moment we're in a rinse and repeat cycle.

Clarke's position in the squad is now tenuous
He'll be gone, probably to league. He only signed a 1 year deal so he probably sees the writing on the wall.

When he left razor did speak about how disappointed he was and spoke about him being converted into a midfielder,
Said something like, i think it would it be a natural progression, I think he could be a nonu , tana umaga type
Not my thoughts , just repeating what he said
-
@DaGrubster surely it’s the CEO. I can’t imagine smithy wanting that responsibility.

Along with those other superstars in that All Blacks squad Sowakula, Fakatava, Tuivasa-Sheck...

While I don't think it significantly changes anything for the All Blacks, especially in the here and now, the return of Leicester Fainga'anuku is still a great thing.
He's young, he's shown plenty of promise in his career already, and he's had some experience overseas. He might not usurp Ioane at centre or Clarke on the wing, but he's a great player to have in the stocks regardless.
Everyone's so down on everything right now, even great news.
