Ratima, Fakatava & Hotham for the halfback positions with Christy next off the rank
Perenara will be picked.
Yuck. All that old TJ shit we whinged about for years and years was on display tonight.
Sure, and I agree. Can't stand him personally.
Jumped up little shit who publicly supported the "redneck" haka by the Wellington woman's team.
But experience matters and he's better than Christie.
They are all placeholders until Roigard comes back (bar Ratima) -

@sparky why
Running game, quick pass, gets the ball out fast, and as Rakete-Stones can attest, can hit like a truck.

Yeah, plus definitely the best with messy ball too. So we won't lose it as much when Grace, Blackadder and Lio-Willie are still getting off the ground from the previous ruck...

Because he's good, has x-factor and has a proven effective combination with the AB 10. Makes total sense.
-
In fact with the current injury to Roigard it would be silly not to pick a Ratima- DMac combo

Don't forget his combo with DMac at 10

Sititi has played other loose forward positions too hasn't he? I remember him playing 7 for Harbour?
Yes, and played at 7 for the NZ U20s.
I thought that Jacobson had a huge game tonight, and it was noticeable that the Chiefs missed his presence at the breakdown when he was in the bin (and a bullshit call that was).
-
Jacobson seems to have some lovers and haters on here. At AB level is he an 8, a 6, a backup 7? Seems to me he isn't first pick in any of those positions and in the past hasn't quite carried Chiefs impact factor consistently at higher levels.

His worst ever haircut doesn’t help either but to be fair it prevented a possible concussion when he got hit late by Finau

Harsh bin or not it was still a deadshit play to take Jordie out off the ball. A common occurrence with him.

It fucking was not. At full speed there was nothing in that. Gardner bitched his panties in to something that wasn't there.

Nothing in that despite never having the ball. Yeah right.

Um what? He passed the ball.
It was late, but penalty should have been the worst outcome -

Jacobsen channelling his inner Pieter Steph Du Toit.
How dare he get physical and actually smash Jordie !
