    @KiwiMurph He's alright at fullback. Kicking the ball away in the opposition 22 had me thinking of Barrett in 2023 ...

    Not good enough for ABs.

    It looks like Jordan won't be ready for the England tests now as he said he hopes to be back in ~8 weeks. He could still be named in the squad though.

    @Bovidae Seems pointless to name him. 8 weeks is the week after the 3rd test of the year.

    @KiwiMurph The last part was my assumption but the coaches may want to rehab him in camp. He's only got club rugby to play now.

    Given they finished top of the Super Table, Razor and co. should be picking at least ten Hurricanes players.

    @sparky

    Hard to argue with a lot of those choices.

    I think Blackadder will edge out Iose though

    Prop I think could be an interesting one. Though Tu'ungafasi and Williams can both play tighthead, they pretty much only play loosehead these days. Ryan has tended to pick specialists, which means those two + EDG, Numia and Bower are playing for three spots.

    Would leave a gap at tighthead, and with few options to fill it. Ta'avao for a recall? Tosi as a bolter? Dyer?

    You can lock in 5 props

    Lomax,De groot,Newell,Williams and Ofa

    Williams and Ofa will cover TH if needed as they will be 3rd choice to play TH.
    Straight battle if they take 6 props Numia v Bower.

    Blackadder over Iose, Ratima/Christie over Hotham/Funaki and potentially one additional outside back over Sotutu, and I think you've nailed it. The last lock is anyone's guess too.

    He makes too many soft errors (mentally and physically). I'd rather have Delany or ideally Lord could get himself in a state where he doesn't break every second game he plays.

    Blackadder & Lio- Willie in the loose forwards for me. Plenty of other locks better than Vaii.
